I didn’t know there was an Autoimmune Hepatitis Association! I was diagnosed last year thru a liver biopsy that was done while they went in to remove my gallbladder and unfortunately I already have advanced cirrhosis. Honestly I didn’t even know there were any treatment options. I also have ITP and Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension, which is terminal. I worry for my twin...they are closely monitoring her but she has the opposite issue with clotting that I do...she has overproduction of platelets and has to take blood thinners to prevent clots. We joke that something must have gotten mixed up in the womb.

Wonder if this common with twins. Since i am twin and have this disease. Also unfortunately i am male wouldn't get much help and have not been so much research about it.

@@saw-alone-man6150 I wonder if there is a connection, someone should research how many twins have autoimmune disease when their twin has the opposite or no issues.

@@pittiesmom10 yeah i think when he got same procedure like colonoscopy. There was no sign for him of having it. But yeah good news sort of, that my blood was good this time. My hypzime liver is better i been told.

What about people that have no family history, but were in the medical field and have had vaccinations for hep A, B and C? Would that cause an autoimmune disorder in the liver to happen? It’s the only thing that would apply to me

I am following AIHA channel from few days and glad to know about the AIHA. I got diagnosed for AIH and now getting treatment (Steroids & Immunosuppressants and few supplements). Got few queries : * I heard one of Gastroenterologist there is no cure. * Hepatologist says Its HLH (Hemophagocytic LymphoHistiocytosis)
