The raiders have more leverage to trade up and the broncos gonna need more than one offseason to make themselves a legitimate playoff team

Broncos are too depleted on talent, picks, and cap space to trade up. They'll trade down if anything.

All incorrect statements, the broncos are #6 in cap space. They have 8 draft picks… and plenty of young talent in guys like Marvin Mims Javontae Williams and pat surtain…Maybe do some research?

@@jprezbronc Broncos lost Russ, Jeudy, Simmons, and Jewell. The only reason they're under the cap is from restructures, and they have no 2nd round pick. Once the Russ dead cap for 2024 kicks in post-June 1st it'll raise the total dead money to $67M.

Depends on what formula the team's staff is after: build a broadly talented team, like SF and PIT, where all that's required of the QB is consistent, slightly-above-average play, combined with an above-average DEF, will win now. The alternative is like BUF or CIN, where the QB has to do it all. Clearly, most teams are opting for the former, because Mahomes or Joe Burrow or Josh Allen are rare, and the Tuas and Purdys and Jordan Loves are not. It may well be the case that NEITHER team trades up to get a QB, and invest in other areas of need.

How the hell can the Broncos trade up? With what exactly? Staley did the Chargers an absolute solid by tanking. They got Harbaugh and the 5th freaking pick while restoring the cap situation. This how to properly tank people. I haven’t seen tanking this good since the Texans.

This is not the draft Payton wants to go all in on. Moving up is not worth it this year. Denver is looking to be at the bottom for the next couple of years and slowly rebuild with draft capital and eventually free agents. Who knows which quarterbacks will be cut next year for not performing up to expectations. One might fit in Denver’s system

@jprezbronc post June 1 after cutting jimmy g the money they save (24mil) will take care of draft picks and contract extensions. The money they have currently (28mil) can be used for trades and free agents which is a better situation cap wise then broncos. Am I wrong?

Why give up more picks when the raiders can draft a WR in the draft like Ladd Mcconkey from Georgia or someone in the later rounds and see if Tre Tucker can step up !!! Because Gardner Mishew and AOC ain't going to cut it !!!
