He’s so right. Aidan O Connell had no business starting a NFL game last year. But he did it and took a years full of lessons in 5 games. Whoever LV brings in, AOC is coming for them.

hes got a cannon, if he can get a quicker internal clock than I think he would improve a ton, as well as work on his agility just moving in the pocket. I still don't he's the guy, but worst case we get some studs on defense and offense and a guy like penix or nix falls to late 1st or 2nd and we can also bring in a jameis Winston on a cheap deal who is hungry and would probably love to come to the raiders and take them to the playoffs unlike carr ever did and won.

It was the offense of McDumbass. People forget that this offense was made for the QB to stay in the pocket. Brady was never asked or needed to be dual threat.

Fuck yeah give AOC a chance! I wasn't sold on him at 1st, but after he finished the season, I wanted this kid to get another chance! Does he need work on some stuff of coarse, he was a rookie but he did impress me!

Not a Raiders fan but I saw that QB play in the preseason and he was impressive. I know it was the preseason but he played really well

Not gonna lie I wasn’t for AP only because of coaching experience. But…… he definitely knows football and he’s not afraid to have smart people around him. He’s a team winner instead of those HC who want individual success

Hey Brock purdy was thrown in the driver's seat though he could pull out a win in the SB he is solid, its funny with us he had to play cause JG choked and was mrssing up our run game no deep threat shortens the field.

Pickup aiyuk or Higgins in free agency to replace him after drafting our qb. #2 we have no chance of getting our preferred choice, draft best player at #13 or trade back especially if Mccarthy and other qb we don't like are there. Sign a guy like Winston to compete with AOC for a year, you can put #1 and 2 together if we like jayden daniels and the qbs go 1,2,3. Penix or nix fall to the second almost in every mock I have seen, trade down draft the better of them, 3 way competition at qb, best man starts and we build onto that defense and the trenches kn both sides.

Like I said, if Mcdumbass never benched him after that Chargers game, raiders would probably been a wild card team. The only big problem I had with AP was when he didn’t bench AOC vs Vikings. The kid couldn’t move the ball past the 50yd line, they should’ve put hoyer or Jimmy back in to show the kid how to get it done, then start him back. But there’s nothing wrong with sitting the kid to learn from his mistakes for a half especially the way that game went but Mcdumbass benched him and threw him under the bus after the game. Basically blamed the game on him. Not cool. I think we should get a good vet qb and allow him to teach AOC how to be a serviceable QB. This team doesn’t need a lights out qb with this defense since they got Rbs to help out. We definitely should NOT draft a qb.

You can read that a couple of different ways. 1. Worst case scenario is pretty good because you have a QB that has shown potential. Some teams don't have that. 2. He's trying to throw off the rest of the league by pretending to want to move up. 3. He's telling Aidan that if he works hard enough he could be the starter. Ultimately, he wasn't dissing Aidan. He liked what he saw.

The top 3 qb's in this draft probably already considered better prospects than AOC from upside alone. I'll believe it when I see it,right now I can't say if AOC is better.

But he played ok for a 4th rd rookie QB with limited reps during pre season and played better than both the veteran QBs on the roster. AOC has at least earned a shot to compete for the starting role. And the Raiders must go get a QB in the draft, even if they have to trade up for it.
