    @MangoBerry420 this is the same on every sport. Using shoulder to score/pass the ball in soccer. Dodging opponents charge in sumo. Backboarding to oneself then dunking in basketball. Only when the rule state otherwise that those things are prohibited

    This is just ridiculous how strong these guys are...im already struggling at 5 kg to hold for a minute- Edit: Since many people were too dumb to understand what i meant, im talking about holding 2 x 5kg weights (one per arm) in front of myself with straight arms for one minute.     Matt Yaw i completely agree with eddie having the most insane static strength but just that alone doesn’t win the wsm. You gotta be well rounded and thats why he usually lost.     @@mr.dimfuckdougadome2261 Definitely short, keeping the weight closer to your C.O.G. closer to the weight makes it exponentially easier with each inch your arms shorter than your opponents Having long arms is more practical for almost every real life application but I’ve also heard having long arms can negatively impact things like bench pressing not just because you’d have to push it a greater total distance

    Anyone who’s ever done competitive strength knows it’s not about beating the other person, it’s a battle with yourself. If you outlast them, it’s because you conquered your weaker self. If they outlast you, props, because they beat their weaker selves. I’ve been in the gym for over a decade. I used to think of other people as competition. Now, if someone outlifts me I give them love and respect because I know they worked their ass off just like me. We are all trying to overcome weakness. Stay humble 💯
