There are a billion different carving knives out there. As you all know they come in every color, shape, and size. There are many factors that go in to selecting the right carving knife and in this video we will talk through several of those things.     I love whittling with a pocketknive. But I have to disagree with the seahorse. The big blade is way to thick. 😊

    I concur seahorse whittler is good I use rough rider for my budget I also prefer my sak and a two blade barlow greetings from uk 🇺🇲👍🐾🦊🇬🇧🇮🇹

    @@crosscutcarvings not forgot the nostalgia in 1600 invented in Sheffield England small penblade to sharpen your quill pen hence term pen knife bolster is long making it strong workhorse perfect for me to hand carve irish shillaglahs and spoons and wood spirits little book of whittling by Chris lubbkemann got me into carving then felix immler here on youtube give him a gander you find him handy 🇺🇲👍🐾🦊🇮🇹
