Shit, my dad was born in the USSR and this is what he literally told me the concerts of Motley Crue or Metallica when the Union was still standing were full of people because everyone could pay their entrance, this recital already in Russia shows the disaster that capitalism caused literally no one could go to see a heavy metal festival

I'm not going to be mean, but will just say that you are sadly misinformed and indoctrinated. You really believe life was good under Soviet Communism? If it was great then why did the USSR have to build a wall to keep people in? Why did the government mass murder millions? Why did America take on millions of refugees from other Communist nations who were starving and so desperate that they were willing to risk their lives just to escape in hopes of making it to a CAPITALIST nation. Yes, capitalism did destroy the USSR, b/c a form of totalitarian government that robs people of incentive, innovation, individualism, steals and controls revenue, regulates all form of business and commerce, will never compete with a free enterprise system like we have in America. We brought down the USSR without firing a shot b/c our booming economy and ideals of freedom, individuals, and prosperity culture put so much pressure on them by trying to keep up that we simply bankrupt that corrupt, murderous, dictatorial regime. They were left with scraps, and never, ever, ever, embraced America's version of capitalism. God Bless America! God Bless Freedom. Down with socialism and Communism everywhere; one of the world's greatest evils ever.

Actually the performance is not bad at all. We are far too used to how post produced live records sounds. This is what a live record really sounds, if you take it right from the console. This was a live TV broadcast, no post production at all. We are too used to overproduced "live" records, SPECIALLY when it comes to WHITESNAKE. The one thing I agree with almost everyone here, is about the lack of charisma and personality of this line up.

@@themodernguitarist I believe you are correct. You can see Warren clearly playing the riff right off the start, but so is Vandenberg. For some reason you only hear one of them, and at 5 seconds in you can just see Vandenberg dip the whammy a few times so it must be him we are hearing. Sorry Warren!

Just watched the Hammersmith show on the same song, then watched this. The difference couldn’t be greater. Adrian Vandenberg and Warren De Martini are two very good guitarists.. but they seem didn’t to bother in playing John Sykes’ song. Warren played such awful solo. Adrian didn’t help it either. Compared to how Doug Aldrich and Reb Beach played in Hammersmith 10 years later… they killed it. The sound, the tightness, the atmosphere. Well perhaps 1994 wasn’t a great time to play this kind of music in the midst of that grunge shit.

He got a nice line up here, but the sound... It's like shredders playing in acoustic and out of tune. Aldrich+Beach sounds more 80s powerful than they here... But is aprt of the 90s history.
