Lol they even have candles that say “seven African powers” with white faces. Like really smdh. I’m loving your videos. I’ve been reading books on Palo mayombe and took a few courses but I would love to connect with you. I need a teacher I am yearning to learn more with not enough accessibility. You are very knowledgeable AND a brother. I need to be able to connect with someone in regards to Palo who is of Afro descent like myself. Keep up the great work

I’m about to email you
great video, straight to the point, & always speaking the truth.
Thank you for this video!!. I can't stand walking into a botánica to see white Orishas. It's also annoying when they have dark skin with straight hair. Not original.
Thank you for the historical context. Great video!
they did the same thing to the man that was responsible for Cuba's independence from Spain he was black and they represent him as a white man and then they flooded the island with. people from Spain to lighten up the people
Great videos I enjoy watching them. They are straight to the point. Very informative. Thanks Tata Lumbanda
Thanks brother.
Great video.

Hey, I think I recognize the interviewers voice! Reminds me of Adunola from "Connecting with Spirits and Guides" here on Yt!
Where are you located I’m in Houston Texas and I’m looking for a Babalawo to get a reading but I’m iffy on getting a reading here because people aren’t truthful

What do you know about Oba Frank lords. Is he racist?
Buenos dias ...como esta muchas bendiciones
The truth will not set you free, the truth will kick you ass and when you find out the truth your going to kick you own ass. Its not black or white and to continue to applying energy pointing fingers at what is already known will cause our ancestor will frown upon us all. Segregation is not the solution. Education without animosity or fear generating antics create results that unify rather than objectify. Wishing nothing but good for you.
Now I'm learning they built there religions the same way
Hablaaaaaaaaa
It's spiritual warfare
Baba Wande Abimbola himself has been documented as saying Obatala is White. However as some Orisha are deified ancestors...obviously the lighter skinned representations of Orisha would pain me if I was black. If your destiny is Orisha or Ifa and one is non black...there is no escaping the religion. However if one is non black and they enter the religion for very selfish insincere reasons..Whoah to them...they'll be sorry!

What you said is nonsense. Mr Wande Abimbola is a Yoruba speaker. Anyone who speaks Yoruba would Know that Obatala literally means King of the white CLOTH. Meaning the pure king. Nothing to do with his skin colour. The Yoruba as with any ancient group told stories for thousands of years. These stories depicted the environment they lived in, representing the people who lived in the towns and villiages. For example the same type stories of how we should shape our lives were told on the Indian subcontinent. Which led to the creation of religions such as Hinduism, Sikhism, Jainism. All God's and characters in these religions are representations of the people who created the stories. where are the white or black people represented in these religions? Of course there are none. the same can go for anywhere in the world you go where traditional religion flourished. An exception to this could be Buddhism. When Buddhism was exported around Asian he took on the shape skintone and appearance of the local people that worshipped him. Buddha was originally an Indian. The same is happening with the Orisha. Yes people should be able to worship their deity and that deity to represent them in image. It is a fallacy to suggest that the any of the Orisha are non-African. In my previous life as a Christian I would only put a black Jesus on my wall. And before you go there yes I am black yes I am Nigerian and yes I am a Yoruba speaker.

"Whoah" to you for trying.
in reality, spirits has NO color. They can be portrayed as one's desire......If somebody wants to use a light version of an image to represents a particular spirit(s) ( orisha/ loa/ gods )so be it. It is up to YOU now to decide whether you're going to do the shame or keep it completely traditional . With this said......the conversation in the video is somewhat pointless and will NOT change anything back that has already moved forward. What you can do now about it, is to educate the NEWcomers; such as your spiritual children(s) to not follow with this new ways of representing of the orishas by reminding them of the HISTORY of the tradition which will make senses to them to understands better where you coming from with the subject of color representation -etc.

Pharaoh Dumbledore this is false. Only ppl that say this are those that have not had alot of experiences in traditional sciences. This not harry potter where things arejust smokey. Dont lie and say youre initiated, or have experience because you have wicca on your channel. Most spirits dont know of humans from a different culture. You have to interact with them to know this. This is why your statement is false.

You have no right to erase the distinct Blackness of Yoruba culture for your convenience. Disgusting how you people continuously steal from our cultures and never ever respect the origins.
