White Guy Shocks Strangers with Fluent Korean and Chinese in Omegle

What is up! Victor here...Victor Talking on... Ome TV.
You probably expected this video from me, didn't you? I've seen a few KZreadrs jumping on this app and showing off their language skills (or exposing the lack of those lol), so I decided to try.
Since it was the very first time I did a few mistakes... You might notice weird things on the screen here and there but I hope it doesn't ruin your overall impression of the video.
I actually tried to find some Japanese people, but couldn't connect with anyone from Japan. Next time I will probably post videos speaking Japanese and Russian as well, so stay tuned!
And by the way, let me know what you think about this video!

This guy is really good, he is giving great advice. He mentioned ”语感” which translates as a sense or feel for the language. This is elusive for most language learners because they lack the natural and authentic way of communicating. Good job Victor, keep the videos coming. You are a positive and inspirational individual.

It means a lot to people if you try to learn their language. I am currently tutoring a man from China and I know a few words here and there in Chinese and Korean (which he is also fluent in), and whenever I drop a word or phrase in one of those languages, he is always so pleasantly surprised. It really means a lot to people, even if it's just a little bit :) He even taught me how to say "see you tomorrow" in Mandarin, as well as "good" in Russian (he is working in Russia at the moment). It's honestly so much fun to collaborate and learn together :)

i speak Chinese to my cousin, shes training me up for the test of a century for me. its sort of a mediocre test level, but since I've only been studying for two months, it should be the hardest test yet. My mother also gives me paper to study on when shes not home, or let me borrow her laptop for an hour or two to continue my training. i mainly listen to audio books, or Chinese dialogue on scripted paper. Sometimes its really hard to get the hang of the phrases, or just sentences in general. But since its my big test, i should at least study for it beforehand. :D

5:59 During the Soeharto era, it was not allowed to speak Mandarin in public and learn Mandarin, so maybe parents were afraid to teach Mandarin to their children, plus there were no Mandarin lessons in the past. It should also be remembered that in ancient times, not all Chinese who moved to Indonesia could speak Mandarin. Mandarin was only used as a unifying language in the 1940s. Previously, Mandarin was a widely spoken regional language around Beijing. So, my ancestor can't speak mandarin even though he comes from China because he comes from the city/province of Guangdong where the majority language is khek. Plus, he doesn't teach the language to his children so none of my family members speak Mandarin. Also, the majority of Chinese who move to Indonesia are from the southern region of China I have studied Mandarin for almost 13 years. However, I still can't because I can't enter thousands of Chinese character combinations into my brain so that's how it is
