Lot's of people especially single language speaking Americans don't realize how it's not just speaking the language, but it's emobodying the culture..eg, mannerism, how it's spoken, and all the non-lexical interjections which you have it down quite well ... Feel like people exaggerate how hard it is to learn a language when you live there. I moved to the US when i was young and was fluent by 1 year. If you really want to learn a language just move the country and immerse yourself.. thats all you need.

@@VictorTalking my second comment was only as condescendant as your first answer, Victor. My initial comment had nothing disrepectful, it was a genuine interrogation that I had and to which I thought there was a specific explanation. You could have answered, I don’t know, something like « asking if we can pay by card is something quite reccurent in a foreign country so I keep asking it so people learn it by repetition » and I would have been « Ok, that makes sense! », boom, closed case. Because you know what? This is something I eventually figured out after watching several other videos, that explanation finally popped to my mind but when I asked it, it was a genuine interrogation of mine; Yet YOU answered it with disrespect, so I just sent your condescendance back to you in my second answer, that’s all. If my inital comment felt offensive, then I apologize but by re-reading it I see nothing disrespectful in it. Also, as you said, this is a learning language channel so next time before feeling offended by a genuine question, tell yourself that English might not be the native language of the person asking so it might only be a question of formulation and understanding whether of intention.
