    oh there's also this thing called ajoblanco that is white gazpacho :) made with almonds and garlic and I don't know what else :D but it's delicious!!! This recipe looks very nice too!!

    I would like to suggest that if you don't want to use creme freshe, try the non-fat greek style yoghurt from Trader Joes. It is better than the non-fat sour cream, especially the extra thick bits that cling to the sides of the container.

    To level the acidity, perhaps you have added too much vinegar... Just add some oil. Oil is what balances the vinegar. Gazpacho is a great cold soup!

    I suggest you to cook andalusian gazpacho "gazpacho andaluz" because that soup you made has no comparison with original with red tomatoes and no-cooked vegetables, with ham and cutted hard boiled egg topping!!

    he didnt puree the other version like he did this one. if u were to put bread in the other one, ud probably wanna puree it super smooth in order to not have what he righteously dislikes: soaking wet bread sponges in ur soup.

    I am definitely going to try this but I don't know, blended cucumbers, grapes, leaks with almost no cooking involved. It almost seems to me like its a cooled smoothy or juice with bread blended into it.
