The way to keep multiple bends in the same plane is with ab angle guage. It clamps onto the tube, and you make sure you are at zero for each bend. Tube work is a huge learning curve especially without a teacher

I love how demo lifts he’s head up looks at Matt like he’s a kid 😂

Get a no dog level. It tightens on the edge after first bend and just get it to stay level before starting the next bend. We use them bending rigid or big EMT in the electrical trade.

Or use an angle finder. That's what we do when bending roll cages etc... Plus an angle finder helps when you need to bend your tubing on different planes. Like when you need to bend a pipe then rotate it x amount of degrees and put another bend in it 👍

Bending this tubing reminds me a lot of bending conduit. Such a hassel, but the end result when done right is so satisfying.

27 minutes. Not bad to get me through the rest of my shift 😂 a surprise to be sure but a welcome one nonetheless

That's how I came across them. I did a small amount of electrical work, a few months ago. I figured they were 100+ bucks. I'm sure you can find them that expensive but most are 20-30 bucks.

I had a 62 Chevy convertible before I went into the Army . Blue with a white top . Loved that car !!

You guys shipped my Truck Mulch the very next day at 9am, that was really nice, your guys and gals must work really hard. I was also lucky enough to get it at 125 and not 150.

Hi guys. If you weld a piece of flat bar on the end before you start and level that flat bar on the first bend and always make sure the flat bar is level before the start of every subsequent bends it will end flat.

There is a pipe angle gauge that clamps around the pipe at one end when you bend. Find it at a muffler shop near you!

That SPX pipe bender is originally designed and made in my home town in southern Minnesota.

He brought the 3 trucks to my salvage yard. Well my uncles. Been working there with my uncle and cousins there for 8 years now. He had a blast lol

Last Bender I used actually calculated spring back ,automatically you just press the button and when the bender stopped the display flashed you were at your bend within a quarter of a degree
