Whirlpool Jet boats at the Devil's Hole tackling Class 5 Rapids on the Niagara River

Powerful jet boats taking on the Class 5 rapids at Devil's Hole on the #Niagara River.
#whirlpooljetboat #niagarariver #class5 #jetboat #rapids #scania
These are the new monster engines for the jetboats in 2019:
"The Freedom Boat engines have arrived! 🌀🌊🚤 The Freedom Boat is powered by Sweden's Scania DI 13-072M Turbo-Diesel Engines. The triple engine configuration, with each engine bringing 670 horsepower to the party, round out the Freedom Boat's total horsepower to 2010 total horsepower! 😱🐎"
Class V rivers are characterized by a combination of the following: rapids that are turbulent or continuous and span a long distance, steep gradients with abrupt drops, large unpredictable waves, and the presence of holes. Due to the nature of these waters, it is often dangerous to swim in them.

This would be very cool for alot of people who still would like the feeling of racing through the rapids but can't dedicate time or money on a long trip like that, or for people who don't swim well or are not able to paddle with the group this would be the best idea!!! If you were dropped off at the right place you could run that wave train in an inner tube no problem. If you folks want to see class 5 go watch kayaking video's of the Grand Canyon of the Stikine in British Columbia, Canada. Makes this stuff look like a Sunday afternoon at the local kiddie pool.

Those boats have thousands of hp behind them. They are very far from struggling lol. They don't even need to use everything it's got, the captain is making it enjoyable for the passengers, racing up at full speed you kinda would miss a lot.
