Funnily enough, in Super Punch Out Aran Ryan is the only boxer who scrupulously abides by all the rules of boxing and uses only legal punches and techniques exclusively. Unlike almost all the other boxers in that game.

In my eyes the fact that you CAN wear headgear after 100 losses, and Glass Joe’s title defense bout comes after you give him his 100th loss, shows that in the WVBA there must exist a ruling that specifically allows that. The doctor being shown can probably just be because Glass Joe’s glass jaw makes the headgear basically mandatory to avoid significant damage in the future.

Now that I really consider it, yeah the enemy boxers do so much more damage to Mac than Mac does to them and playing aggressively is bound to end up in a game over (unless you take advantage of the little known microseconds that allow you to hit repeatedly) forcing Mac to always be on the move or blocking lest he catch some oversized monster of a human beings fist directly on top of his head

Yeah that's what the case is. Alongside Glass Joe and Piston Honda, Mr Sandman is the only boxer who doesn't cheat in the slightest. The only thing you could say about Mr Sandman is that he wouldn't be allowed to box until his anger issues are resolved. There was one infraction Bumbles forgot to include for Honda and that would be the manga he's seen reading in between matches. There are two reasons why it's an infraction. The book counts as a foreign object brought into the ring and he could be receiving outside information from it. Bumbles did forget to mention this about Von Kaiser which are the boots he wears. Kaiser is wearing military boots which are not allowed in boxing. You are required to wear WVBA approved boots. It's also never implied, but we can infer that Kaiser likely has PTSD meaning he wouldn't be able to box until his mental state improves

Maybe the turn could be considered a fowl, but because that seemingly comes from momentum they might be able to excuse it. You technically turn your back to your opponents if you miss a wide hook, showing the back of your shoulder. His biggest level of cheating is wearing a vest in world circuits when you're not supposed to. But considering the other uniforms everyone else is wearing, I'm assuming their rules on clothes are probably lenient

Presumably Hippo's stats are unknown because he broke the scale, broke the measuring tape, and when asked where he was from, responded solely with making Godzilla noises, so they just gave up and left the fields blank

The ref has an infraction too. He gives the boxers an easier chance to get up by pausing the count as they attempt to get up but keeps counting when Mac tries to get up.

4:35 Heres the thing about TD glass joe. His headgear doesn't just reduce damage. It COMPLETELY negates any normal punches, it takes mac to use his strongest move the star punch to do any damage to his head, and even a level 3 doesn't do nearly as much. Which means it can be assumed that this headgear has been tampered with, which can be counted as 2 more infractions for intent to cheat and using said cheating item. We can tell it's been tampered with because when mac uses headgear, he ACTUALLY takes reduced damage instead of negating it. And i don't think it can be said that mac's punches are too weak considering the opponents hes faced and what happens to them in the TKO scenes, if he can punch someone as big as donkey kong and send him in the air with an uppercut. I think normal headgear wouldn't stop him.

In fact, it’s kind of hilarious because I’ve tested this theory with a drive thru sensor before and set off the speaker alert with a dolly. Yes, a rolling hand truck. If it were weight based then motorbikes would have some issues too, so there’s that. The sensors are designed to detect vehicles but not in the way you thought.

One thing that you probably missed about sandman. In his title defense fight, during his victory scene, the refere is attempting to lift sandman's arm, indicating that he won.
