@@stephonb12 I know it's not a "nice" experience, but it takes basic empathy and emotional maturity to know that, in a very vulnerable moment like sex, this can happen because it can be triggering. So what to do? act like an emotionally competent adult and offer him basic emotional support or expose that intimate moment and shame him about it publicly? I think that doesn't have any excuse, the act itself of exposing and shaming him for that is wrong.

Josh comes across as a guy who doesn’t necessarily intend to hurt people and also doesn’t really practice much introspection. Not because he’s a jerk but because he hasn’t been either exposed or shown how to do so. The reason I say this is all predicated on his response near the end when asked if he learned anything. He seemed more genuine and like he maybe had a bit of a wake up call. Who knows if he actually followed up, so my input is just a snapshot opinion.
