Her frustration with the industry is definitely warranted. It may not be Graces fault specifically. Hayley has been working at this for 4 years full time and knew what she was talking about. Still, Grace who’s been doing it for a year who admitted she was a beginner makes more money than she does.

That’s interesting that you say that because I actually got that vibe from Grace. She was passive aggressive the entire time. A plus size person pointing out a very real issue between how plus size people are treated in the industry versus people who aren’t plus size and white people versus people of color are treated is accurate. Unfortunately these 7 people do not at all reflect the demographic of influencers and typical salaries. This is based off of 7 people who are in a very small percent of the industry that jubilee cherry picked for diversity which is great. When Haley made her comment it was unnecessary, how she said it was a little harsh, but what she said was extremely true. Look at the statistics or just open your phone or a magazine, its not rocket science.

@@najamcdonald I think more people relate to average sized fashion influencers because they are closer to that weight themselves. So that's why they "do better" as influencers. People who are not plus sized are likely not going to follow a plus sized fashion influencer for tips, when none of the tips would apply to them 🤷♀️ I don't think it's being fatphobic. But just like as a woman, I would probably not have the need to follow a male fashion influencer.
The thing I love about these videos, is that there is always 1 person who is rude or full of themselves and 9/10 times they get absolutely humbled by the results.

Indeed, it would be also interesting to see the effort needed for each one, that's hard to put in numbers but you can guess how unbalanced it is.
I like how supportive Teddy & Josh were of each other and how humble both of them are. Teddy was even correct about Josh's placement and he stood up to Hayley when she tried to run the placements for the last round.

Haley shamed no one she stated facts. They were adamant about keeping her above those she knew would typically make more than a plus sized person. When Haley made her comment it was maybe unnecessary but she can do what she wants, how she said it was a little agressive, but what she said was extremely true. Look at the statistics or just open your phone or a magazine, its not rocket science. And a lot of people do get mad at the comment because what they have is internalized, just scroll down the comments and you see a bunch of fatphobia.

Like Joshua said in his comment, a LOT gets cut out for time's sake but we actually had some really great conversations around what it means to be an influencer, the privilege that comes with it and the different experiences we've all had based on personal circumstance. Noticed this too. Her asking the black guy (I forgot his name) if it was harder making money being a black male was pure and genuine and then at the end she acknowledges the other sex worker with a supportive gesture (the shoulder touch). I like her character, she deserves to be where she’s at.

I knew Josh would be top 3. Pretty much the only thing I ever learned from Graham Stephan was that financial youtubers make 5-10x more money per view than other categories. Scammers just run cryptoponzi and pump and dump scheme ads on those channels because they think the audience is vulnerable. This isn't to say that what Josh is doing is bad. It's just how the space works.
I literally went to school with Grace. And seeing her blow up recently is crazy to me
