One thing you didn't cover - Put your lipo's through a 'storage charge' mode when not in use, I did it with all my old rc batteries from seven years ago and they're still good to this day (no bloating), Storage charge brings all 3 cells up to even 3.7v each, not drained but not full.

You legend I’ve been through 4 battery chargers the first B3 blow up when I plugged it in, one of them pretends to be charging. So I bought the blue one you got now but doesn’t have the black head or a Tamiya head now gotta change everything to a Deans to save the headaches. Great review CHAMPION!!!

You can buy a multi lead for it on Ebay has every kind of plug on it save you messing about around 10quid

Thanks for this! Super informative and very interesting Could they be rated at approx twice the capacity because they need a +/- cell to generate energy? Anode+cathode=16-1800 maH for a total output of 8-900? iPhone battery approx 1800 maH in considerably less space (L-ion as opposed to LiPo though)

@@lowguidoschopshop Yep - In the fine print or bottom of their description. (Mind you - I've only been looking for an 11.1V for a JM J10 ACR - but assume they'd all be the same). Must be their "Loop Hole" against refunds/returns.. :-/

Higher% cylinder =stronger seal=better power But also could make the internals misaligned easily as well due to overcompressed Piston is just material and weight for durability and lifespan

Hi Is there a board to charge 6 batteries at a time for gel batteries Or will I have to change the fittings on the batteries to XT60 or Deans connection I do have the board is it possible???

I myself use 2 different li-po chargers 1) Venom Power X4 Pro Quad AC/DC Smart Charger 2) Hitec X4 AC Plus. Just thought you'd like to know there are other more viable charger's on the market. Also a point you didn't mention is the use of a li-po safe charge/storage bag, which is a must have.

Hey mate I just bought a j10 and bought an upgraded 11.1v battery. I’ve accidentally drained it to zero the first time I used and when I connect it to the USB charger it doesn’t charge. Someone said I can get battery back to life by using the b6 charger. Can ya give me some idea what to do with this new battery. Cheers

Hey mate on my lipo discharge I only have the option on 3.0V(1S), 6.0V(2S), 9.0V(3S), 12.0V(4S), 15.0V(5S) & 18.0V(6S). I seen your was 11.11.1v how do I change mine as it won't let me change to anything but the ones I have above

Its 3S. 9.0v is the lowest voltage. Just a different firmware version.

I made the cables myself. the battery connector is a JST-SM and the power plug is a pretty standard 12V 5A power supply

No you do 2.2amps as yours since its 2200mah you dont do it off the c rating

if a lipo battery is knacked it will puff up if this happens bin it

If that happens DO NOT BIN IT, take it to a proper battery disposal place. I saw a garbage truck load catch fire once because someone decided to ‘bin’ their battery (compacted = explosion). Truck driver dumped the entire load of garbage right in the middle of the street so as to not catch his truck on fire as well. I’m sure that’s what you meant by ‘bin it’ though. Fucking batteries are like bombs when compacted.

What does it mean when the battery gets hot only after 5 mins of charging..and swelling a little..

@@markgrant3830 You have to make your own. The charger uses banana plugs that you can get form ebay or jaycar etc. You can bay the JST-SM with leads already crimped on from ebay. Fit the banana plu to the lead.

guido lipo battery shouldnt go below 3.2v, 3.0 you have completely cycled the cell become like think cardboard full charge, for a lipo is 4.2 but flots at 4.19v ask me have a massive powerwall of lipo. anything over 4.2 volts get thermal run away and things turn bad. Should also state your B6 is a chinese clone and if you have calibrated the charger! 2000mah STD battery suck only 960 mah

3.0 and 4.2 are absolute limits. if you run between 3.2 and 4.19 you will prolong the life of your battery and not risk any catastrophe.
