Thank you the explanation and detailed description. Vata: 7; Pita: 18; Kapha: 3. I see that Pita is dominant, while some qualities are spread across other doshas too. Some of the qualities changes over age- from Childhood, Youth, Middle to Old age. We always treat current condition right, last 24 hours especially when taking medicines ?

the three doshas try to dominate each other every time, according to time of the day or according to season in year a particular dosha will dominate. the balance between the 3 doshas is important for good health. so with food, lifestyle, time of the day, season of the year one dosha will dominate the other two. For ex if you eat spicy food, it will remain working at night too, also if this is the summer season, the three things will increase pitta in the body. So if you do anything like surabhi mudra or pranayam that can balance three doshas and it is healthy for you. the definition of good health according to ayueveda is to balance in 3 doshas like nature does.

Bharath r kumar Maybe I can help. I also am Vata. I feel better already since I am watching Khabir Southwick videos here on KZread, he tells us to eat, warm hot soups, hot tea's especially dandelion and ginger tea's. Lay down in a dark room and breathe deeply through your nose, relaxe get in a calm frame of mind with calm instramental music if it'll help you, try to clear your mind from fear, worries and who knows what else, who cares about what happened in that movie you saw 2 yrs ago! Ugh, this such a struggle for me. #1, eat hot satisfying foods. Stay away from drying foods, popcorn, chips crackers, rice cakes.... dry foods. #2, sip on hot tea's or hot water. stay away from cold smoothies and salads, raw foods, #3, stay warm, take along a sweater just incase you get cold. #4, get on a schedule, eating at the same times everyday. #5, Get to bed early and at the same time every night Wake up at the same time every morning. These are hard for me to do as I was trying a raw vegan diet in the winter months, duh!! Only to become sicker and sicker. I have been balancing my vata only for 2 weeks by following Khabir's advise and I am feeling better every day! Good luck and watch his videos, amazing calm educated man I thank God for him every day. I think I have a touch of kapha also, slight weight gain.

I'm so confused now. I did at least 6 tests and each time I get different results. According to your description, I don't belong to any and belong to all doshas. I thought I'm kapha, but I have quick movements, I'm fast, I'm walking and moving my body fast. I'm also very tall. I don't have large bones, I'm actually very proportional. I have good appetite and I'm very irritable when I skip meal. I'm moody as well (pitta properties)... So what the heck? What am I?
