Shogo, I love it that you cover both the rainbow-colorful bright side, as well as the dark side of Japan. I love it that you don't sugarcoat anything, but to present it to us just as it is (: This is the channel on Japan that I was looking for for such a long time, and I found it!
Japan seems like it is SO much fun and adventurous, while also being a teaching and learning opportunity ✌🏻☺️ can’t wait to someday visit Japan
I was really excited and then you mentioned alcoholic drinks... I wish there was a place like this for everyone, and not just adults.
Recently, I went back to a restaurant named “Cracker Barrel”, one I haven’t been to in about 5 years. On top of being a restaurant they have a gift shop/candy store that you can browse before and after you eat. I bought a bunch of candy and Cokes I haven’t seen in a while, and had fun sharing them with my family. Great video, Shogo san and Co!

I remember the Cracker Barrel restaurants. I have not been to one in years as they are pretty far from where I live. They are a great restaurant. I remember that my Dad bought a 2 pound candy bar there. We shared it with all the people that we had gone camping with that summer.

We have sooooo many of them down in the South. I never even considered that they were a rare experience for others in the US but given that plenty of restaurants are highly limited to certain regions I should have. Down here you can find one in most towns and every few exits off the main highways where people often use them as a rest station during vacations.
I'm not much of a drinker but I'd definitely love to visit something like this just for all the snacks and games and manga~ X3

This looks so cool and all the snacks look amazing 😋
It's really nice they let you film inside the location, because I heard certain entertainment venues don't allow guests to record videos or take pictures inside
Of course they can have an All-You-Can-Eat candy bar! What kinda adult can eat more then 3 candy bars at a sitting? It's like a diabetic fight club.

"You don't know me!" I fully support your life decisions here, Kazu. XD
I'm just impressed with your work insane quality. I do think your intentions are so pure and honest!
This is absolutely wonderful! I wish there was something similar to this in the US but unfortunately a lot of snacks were discontinued
*cheers my sweet iced lemonade-tea w frozen strawberries, blueberries, mangoes n peaches to the screen w you guys~* X3b
This video was so much fun to watch! I wish you had more time to show more snacks! I would have loved to learn about each one. I just clicked on the link in your description and it's in english! Yay! I was looking for information on whether you could take home some of the candy as souvenirs (or as a personal supply when you get back to your country), but sadly, it seems you cannot take anything out of the store. Is there a dagashi place where it is not eat-all-you-can and where you can purchase the candy to take home?
2:58 LAMUUUUUUUUUUUU chan!!!! It brought back so much of my childhood, my very first "fictional" crush! Oh wait, means i was into tsundere as a kid, i might have to talk about it with therapist...
I especially love this part of this video 1:25 ! Love seeing Naruto and Akira manga here ! 🤩🤩🤩
Iam Indian But I don't know about Japanese culture after watching your videos I got to know How the Japanese culture was The way u teach is Amazing So I Like to watch your Videos
This makes me feel natsukashika even though I didn't grow up in Japan, but I miss those video games!
Your videos have already shown me many places I would like to visit but I think that this is the one that makes me wish I could have really been there with you. You are having such a fun time together and the place you are in is simply awesome. Thank you for sharing this.
This is especially a great place for foreigners cause you can try all the dagashi in one place, and try and bunch of unique drinks to us
Shogo. This video is awesome. A place for adults to be kids again. Definitely an add the my growing bucket list. Also. It was nice to see Kazu’s face. 😊
Umaibo. Especially curry flavor. My favorite.
Pretty Kool, it is definitely like a club house for children. Just a great way to spend time with children and give them another way of interaction with their buddies.
The Final Fantasy X merch on the table makes me kinda happy, it looks like such an awesome place. Also I’d do like Kazu and get as much as possible
this venue looks like so much fun haven't had the chance to enjoy Japanese snacks for quit some time kirby ^_^
Pop rock bar drinks?! Sign me up!!
What a cool place! I ❤️the idea of candy cocktails!!!!
What a fun video. 😊 Thank you for sharing this with the world.
This is such a great video! Thank you for sharing, looks so fun!!
This is beyond genius. Just about anyone can serve some booze, but how many boozers kept their original NES/64 and Wii? Amazing business foresight up in here.

Aftermarket in retro gaming is big in Japan.
And another addition to my must visit list. Thank you
Truly a time capsule of a venue Thanks for showing us Shougo and Team !
Love this! Such a fun place!
This was VERY Interesting! Thank You!
Thank you for this fun video!
hello Shogo and friends. It seems like Shogo would have been a fan of Sour Patch Kids sour candy when he was in America.
I really enjoying this video ! Thank you 😀😀👏🏽👏🏽
I wish I could give you a thousand 👍! This was just pure joy!
I'm so early! This place is definitely going on my list of places to visit~
Hi kazu 🙋♀️ your reactions always a winner 😂 love it.
That place looks awesome! Lots of cool Japanese candy to try and games to play! My mouth is watering seeing the sour stuff.
This is the kind of place that I'd love to visit, just for the manga, videogames and alcohol alone. XD
A great video I really like how you show all sides of Japan, the darker side and the more optimistic side. I really would like to see this bar myself when and if I go to Japan
One of the best videos
I'm gonna end up giving myself diabetes if I step in that store and do my usual thing of devouring everything appealing in sight.
Azming work 🔥🔥🔥🔥
So many snacks that I want to try! 🤩
This looks like such a fun place to go to with friends!
I am unfamiliar with all of these treats but so enjoyed watching the all of you relive your childhoods, and everything looked so yummy
Oh my I never thought I'd see Urusei Yatsura 'in the wild'
Thanks Shogo!
This looks like the funnest place!
I love how they're having such a casual and respectful conversation while the bar is blasting metal music in the background 💀💀
That is so cool!!!!!
I always thought you did regular kid stuff in Michigan, or worked in the rice fields, went to school, and sang the praises of your country’s leader.
the sweets look so yummy😋😋😋
Fun!!! 😍 I wish I could go too!
Kazu is uncensored! Yay!
Super Mario World and mixed drinks . . . it's like I'm back in college.
this sounds like a delicious place. nice.
If Shogo-San like sour flavour, you can try "Pisco Sour", a chilean alcoholic drink. It's a mix of pisco + lemon juice ;)

@@MirellaSnape Riiiight... I don't know, chilean and peruvian people always fight claiming they're the "owners", I don't drink, so I don't know. But, as a chilean man, I say it's chilean, only to bother, xD Greetings!

NICE!
That place looks absolutely amazing. I don't think you'd be able to get my friends and me back out of it!
I remember those gummis! Didn't know they were for game
Hi Shogo, Thank you for making and sharing this video. It really brought me back to my own childhood when I heard the music for Mario. I still have a working N64, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable and a Game-boy color. I would love to visit this bar someday. I wonder if they have nonalcoholic drinks. I hope that you and your family are doing well. Wishing you all a safe and fun summer.
Thank you for uploading this video!!! This place will DEFINITELY be on my visit list if I ever go to Japan one day!!! (*^◯^*). Also, the cool art and stickers on the walls/table are absolutely stunning!!!
Kazu decked-out his candy tray like a BOSS
What a cool hidden gem. I'm surprised you didn't stay all day!
A real Dagashi Kashi adventure haha.
Hello Shogo, Kazu, Harumi and Tomoko! Very cute video!! Which of the two big children is the most greedy? I find myself in my childhood with all these delicious sweets! Well done Team! brotherly affection
*listens to Kazu go on about the oranges in his 2nd drink* How much liquor was in Kazu's first drink...? XD
I had some Japanese candies and snacks. Best candy and snacks I’ve ever had 100/10.
Whaaaa?! You mean there's a business that actually knows what pop-rocks are for?! I thought I was the only one that knew that pop-rocks were originally created as an instant soda-pop mix.
Great chemistry between the two I want to buy an abandoned house near kyoto or outside of tokyo
I want the Lum glass. My collection is instantly incomplete :( loved it.
When I first heard gummies I immediately thought of Hideaki's Gumi... that would be a crossover to die for
Wow! What a place! I now feel like my childhood was incomplete....(born in the U.S.A.)
Uuuh this place is a dream that comes true * _ *
You should come to Mexico guys, here we have crazy drinks too. 😁😁
OMG I WANT TO GO THERE T_T
So cool! Are salty snacks also available at this shop? I enjoy sweet snacks and salty snacks, at the same time.
I wish I knew what those yummy stick flavors were!
This reminds me of when I would come out like a bandit after visiting my local candy store
I be having dream where I invented similar thing but like candy (medecal herbs/ginger taste + sour and it ssshhhhhh in mouth like that dagashi pillow). So cool, I love Japan even more - it have everything I ever dream of.
I just reached 1:49, but... NES and N64, it's already worth visiting
The penguin is called Piplup in English 🐧This looks like such a fun place, hope I can go one day!
I’m sorry Shogo I could never go there, because I would never leave
ohh, I'll have to remember to go here when I finally get to take a trip to Japan. I'd gain so much weight here lmfaooo
A very cute attraction.
Don't work too hard Shogo!

Thank you so much for your kindness! I’m doing completely fine✨
I’m getting a sugar rush just watching this.
I don't know if you know this but a youtuber name Hoser made a video about the rise and fall and rise of Japan lately and I was wondering if you could give some insight as a japanese such as yourself
I wonder if there would be a concern if a sumo were to walk through the doors XD
Looks like a sugar overload! 😁
i noticed the chain like fastener you have on your outer coat, it looks like it's not meant to actually close it, but maybe keep the wind from blowing it all over the place? in your last video you had a white one and i wondered if they were pearls, since in the west one rarely sees pearls on men 😀 mmm booze and candy, what a fun bar!
When I first read this I thought it was about those snack bars that old men go to to talk to female bartenders and get charged a fortune!
If there are old school games, count me in! :D
First
I love mochi! But I've never seen such teeny tiny bits of mochi, usually they are 2-3 bites each. XD
