Great video! Seasoned divorce lawyer here. Just my two cents: if you get a whiff of narcissistic personality disorder behaviors, DO NOT MARRY. RUN. I’ve seen narcissists try to destroy the spouse who tried to escape from them via divorce. Stay safe! Vet very, very carefully BEFORE getting married. Or stay single. Trust your gut.

When you go NO CONTACT with the Narcissist, they will lose their minds because they see it as though you are abandoning them. They can't deal with it due to their abandonment issues. When RESPECT isn't being served, get up and leave. You didn't come to this world to be someone's emotional punching bag. FULL STOP. Just because mistreatment happens doesn't mean it's normal. Everyone is meant to be loved, respected and honoured and the Narcissist isn't capable of giving that to you but you can give it to yourself. Don't seek validation from the Narcissist. VALIDATE YOURSELF.

You are correct. That is what I did. You need to just look at the situation for what it is. I left and it it was obvious she was using me and most likely involved with someone else. I went no contact, abandoned the remainder of my property and she contacted me. The threats began and also she claimed pregnancy making comments like "you are going to be tied to me for 18 years ". Blocked and no contact......

Don't forget folks... Narcs have a patient side to them. If you are a believer the word says: The devil walks around as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. In the animal kingdom the lion is patient, while he is finding his prey. Even though you block them...they are thinking of the next recipe to try and get you back and it may be months or years down the road. After this long you have healed up and you're fresh like a charged battery. This is attractive to them.

I am going on year 2 from my Narc wife of 12 years married her twice. I have gone no contact and plan to keep it going. Thank God I have no kids with her. I'm 13 days so far with no contact with my narcissist ex. He's even tried calling me from a different phone number. I thought about calling back because I knew it was him. But it would have been the same old BS about how awesome his life is right now, and how I'M the one missing out by not talking to him. In a really weird way, I sort of feel bad for him because he's so insecure in himself that he has to go so far for people to like and essentially worship him. That was me off and on for the last two years, me being his little puppy dog. BUT!! No more! I'm tired of giving him the whole cookie, only to get crumbs in return! I thought it was just me, but when you really analyze to certain depth what they mentally deal with and understanding their level of insecurity and starving for supply snd attention you feel bad for them . I was upset with myself for remotely feeling empathy but it’s who I am , deep down just empathetic.

Loving my no contact! At the beginning, I needed to find a way to block emails. The public library computers helped. As for contact through children, I requested that my daughter and his sons to refrain from passing on messages from him or talking about him. Worked like a charm. I had to retrain myself, as well. No talking about him to anyone has been challenging. I almost don’t think of him at all. I focus more and more on ME and my desires. Yes, I still listen to videos, to make sure I stay free and safe. My writing in the comments is mostly about HOW I did it, what worked for me, and to inform people that it is possible to get away. I left at almost 75 years of age. If I can do it, I figure that anyone can do it. One more month and a few days, and it will be FIVE years of no contact! Not everything has been rosy and fun, because we grieve what will never be. The PEACE and quiet! The calm and feeling of safety from endless negativity are glorious! Blessings!

Hey love, please work on your feeling and self more. If you are stable within you, by healing the triggers that disturb your peace within please ask yourself why is it triggering me? What past trauma is it linked with? When you link you unconscious with the conscious it will make you unbreakable. Boundaries are keys to deal with narcs if you can't blocked them. They don't think the same as we do, protect your energy they don't care about you.

I've gone no contact with someone I was friends with who I feel was behaving like a Narcissist. A mutual friend has told me the Narcissist misses me, hates that I haven't been talking to him and wants to be friends again. I felt bad for all of a few minutes and then remembered my reasons for going no contact and will not be replying to the request. They are still blocked. At first, yes, it was to be a temporary silent treatment to teach him a lesson but when I went no contact, I was happier and want to stay that way. Temporarily became indefinitely.

My experience as well! I was surprised by how much more peaceful and happy I was without the toxic "friend" during what I thought was temporary distance. And the distance gave me opportunity to review the whole "friendship" and how the red flags were always there and I dismissed, justified, and made excuses for her behavior. Also, the fact that my boundary was violated by her repeated texts to me showed me my decision to separate was the right one.

I’m on NC for 2 weeks and every is killing me. I need to be strong!!! Please pray for me.

I know...when I left mine it was like pulling off my right arm! It will get better ONLY if you stay NC. It may take 6 months or so. Keep telling your inner child that you are doing this for your own good. Change your time patterns and were you go because they will try everything to orchestrate an run in. Occupy yourself with work, hobbies, friends....Next thing you know time goes by faster and then you realize that you wouldn't take them back even if they were the only person in the world! My ex sent a friend of his to me about a year later stating that he wanted me back...I actually laughed and said "I don't think so". It was so easy! And I felt so FREE and empowered! I am sure his friend told him about my reaction and what I said. I am sure he was embarrassed and his ego took a pretty big hit. Never heard from him again. Hang in there...and the best way to get through it is to stay busy...at least that was the case for me.

I can only imagine if I married her then how my life would've been! Maybe I would've committed suicide since she would definitely leave me or cheat on me... now I am in no contact since 3 months. Last time I checked, she was in relationship with one guy she met just few days after I blocked her So yeah... narcs have the ability to move on very quickly as if nothing happened... That’s what I used to do to fill a void now I try and stay single. Some people try and get with someone else to fill a void. How awful to think I’d do this to myself. I don’t want to be with someone just to fill a void that’s not right not only for the other person but for me to. I was diagnosed with BPD which is also a personality disorder but I really no longer see a lot of these symptoms in me and if I do I turn to God and try and get out of self mode

They like to provoke and I think it's so we put the focus on them and not on us. I think is that they just have a deficit of attention seeking from childhood.

Whatever the differences are between each narcissist and the individual circumstances I believe it is necessary to respond the same. SHUT THE DOOR PERMANENTLY ON THESE PEOPLE. I USED TO BELIEVE I HAD NO CONTROL BUT OF COURSE I DID! I ALLOWED MYSELF TO GIVE THE CONTROL OVER TO A NARCISSIST!!!!

It's happening now. He's got new supply and treats me like trash. I'm so hurt. This is my first day of no contact and I'm not coping because my valuables are still at his house. Do I send someone to go get them? Do I rock up at his house unannounced? I don't ever want to call or text him because he might ignore my calls and I'm not ready for the rejection so I'd rather not. I experienced the same. What she was really telling me I now know was that I was not giving her full control. They also like to say you will never change. We know it's them that are incapable of change.

No contact meant danger to me. She tried to punch me in back of my head 4 days after I had a seizure. Get a restraining order and even then watch your back.

Completely shut the door on these people. They don't have any control over you. I believed my ex did. When you fight the emotions and look clearly they have no control unless you let them control you.

It is actually a great method. You need to stop thinking that you might have hurt a narcissist by leaving him/her (it is only his or her ego which suffers) and start thinking of your own safety, also emotional. If you are emotionally drained by someone, you must leave asap. It really helps to heal and gives satisfaction that we did our best for ourself. Intuition will lead you to your freedom. Then close this chapter.

If you are already on your healing journey and you break the no contact rule its actually a setback because the healing journey could get derailed. Moreover d cptsd recovery time will be extended and the symptoms worsened.

I went no contact after 2 months of breaking up and my ex sent me an April fools text saying he wanted to make it work and then sent a video text of him laughing about the joke with his new supply. I couldn’t believe he did that. I blocked him after that. So this confirms that he was just trying to get my attention and obviously he’s still hurt about the break up to do such a thing.

Hm looking back he would never ghost me but he would never care what I had to say either but when I’d confront him he’d pretend to then respond to most of my messages. 🤷‍♀️😢 same with me though if I don’t call, answer, text him he’s back to being “loving” and pretending to change. Once I take him back he never changes then starts punishing me.

What I don't understand about narcissist is they never contact me in my experience but expect me to call them. I mean it's so obvious.

Mine sought to get a reaction from me by harassing and threatening my family. I told them not to react and I did the same.

Having a beautiful ex narcissist girlfriend and being an Empath the more I learn about the narcissist disorder the more sadness I feel for her. To her credit she was honest with me. She told me to stay far away from her or she would continue to hurt me. She does not realize I don't want the relationship like it was. And, I am emotionally strong. My empathy is my only problem.

Don't feel any sadness for her. She can burn in hell. I am an empath too and I too had ex narcissist gf who was beautiful spanish girl. (well she wasn't the most beautiful girl ever but you know female narcs always think they are the most beautiful girls ever but their ass starts hurting seeing other hot girls walking on streets). She trapped me using her body and trauma bonding too. My love was freaking real for her, I cared about her in every way.. but her love was superficial. I didn't knew about all this narcissist disorder stuff when my relationship with her was going okay (yep honeymoon phase).. but then when things started breaking aparts and she showed her true UGLY SIDE, I began researching about what's wrong with her and here I am! I already broke up with her 3 months ago. Now I am recovering from her bonds while she's already in relationship with another guy!

My ex told me “I don’t want to keep hurting you, stay away”. I blocked him !

I discarded the narcissist then the new supply called out of nowhere after ex narc tried to come back. My friend was visiting me at the same time . He was so hurt. The new supply says he was in a jealous rage that I moved on. Now my friend for 19 years are dating now. I didn't set this up, I just knew not to put my whole heart into someone who didn't deserve me. I got strength from somewhere and I think God it happened like that.

I just left a narcissist relationship where my ex, whilst with me, was still in contact and seeing her previous ex and is now in a relationship with her. It’s not until after the breakup, I see things clearly, the red flags, the way I was blamed for everything and made out to be problematic, and now I realise, this person was a total narcissist. I was totally manipulated and triggered and when I outed this person, I was made out to be traumatic lol. No apology, no acceptance. I sent my final message and then blocked this person off everything. I know this person will keep contacting me one way or another but, I will never get in touch. Best revenge is no contact and let it eat them up about what they did!

Now I am on the straight and narrow....wish I didn’t do it, but as the discard was so extreme...with no warning signs my head was in a mess.....I am devoted to blocking him forever...how dare he treat me and people like that and get away with it. He blocked my number, deleted me from his facebook friends. But he kept messaging me on messenger once in a while, and when I respond it would take days before I hear back from him. He likes those games. I'm just tired of it.

I went no contact for seven years. Then, I gave a family member one last try and it didn't work. It's been 16 years since that final attempt. That door is officially closed.

I guess I should consider myself blessed as it’s been a year n only 1 pathetic Hoover 2 weeks after I left him of a “hi” which I ignored n blocked.... a year later and nothing, I’m very happy he is busy ruining someone else’s life rather than mine!

I'm blown away from how many of us empaths have been in such horrible relationships ...15 years of crazy psycho stuff ...now I'm two months into a life time of no contact....when you truly look back at all the stuff that's happened...you truly must be mad if you were to want that back in your life .that is not love. they do not understand love or its meaning.....you fall in love with the act they play ,and aren't they good at that ....but ultimately its an act ,its not a true representation of the person ....the true person is out to destroy you ....as hard as that may seem ...its the truth.

When two parents are co parenting and the parent with the child decides to ghost the other parent and get the child to do the same, THIS IS ABUSE OF POWER. DENYING A MOTHER CONTACT OF HER CHILD WITH A NARC IS PSYCHOLOGICAL ABUSE.

I told my ex “I do not want to be with you this is the last email I’m going to send” and he still contacts me through different phone numbers and email addresses. He boasted about that to it was creepy. What weirdo boasts about stalking someone? No thank you! Bye Gina don’t let the door hit you on the ass

Make sure when you said it’s your last email, it really was and will be your last. If they call your bluff it’ll be an issue.

After 2 months of complete no contact Mine actually broke into my house and rearranged my wall hangings …. After making sure it wasnt any of my adult children that have keys to my home I realized it was my narc…this was very out of character because hes always been covert I learned … slick cool laid back i always did the begging …. He never acted in any way loving … but indeed the creepy narc broke into my home took some of my personal items even creepier … Hes back on no contact I have nothing but contempt for the man I feel madly in love with once…

I decided after my last visit with my mother in law, to talk to my husband about reaching my limit with her. So now no contact, and not caring. He can see his mother, but I have no energy left for her drama and manipulation. I have felt calmer and have a certain kind of peaceful feeling having made this decision.

He thought I was foolish or stupid and didn't know the game he was playing but to he's surprise I spotted him out and it wasn't good on he's side. I've blocked him and no contact is in place and I've put up my boundaries too.

After no Contact the narcissist to getting crazy and still obsessed with you but no loved at all. They hated you and looking how to punish you. Forever no go contact with the narcissist is the best choice. Guys still stand your ground .

I did a lot of these things unconsciously but I became aware & did my best to stop all I wanted was a genuine connection but I lost myself in the process trying to force something that wasn’t there anymore.

I tell the Narcisse to his fase Why I don't call or communicate ,when he see me in the streets When he ask why I don't pick up I tell them........I don't deal with liars Straight to thier fase with a heavy unmiviable spirit , like a heavy grizley bear 🐻 not angry or upset not moved at all by thier reaction. Not frighten or scared by thier reaction, its almost like they feel my power and incredible strength.

I felt this on so many levels!! I started doing the same thing and was called aggressive for standing in my power, taking control, and setting boundaries.

So I had been watching these videos because I didn’t know what to do. . The moment I went no contact all hell broke loose. He passed a message through a mutual friend saying and I quote “tell that B if he does not answer the phone I am going to burn him alive in his sleep” I thought it was just a way to get a response until he broke in and poured gas in the house, woke me up and told me to choose him or death.

When I was listening to this about going no contact, I agree they will try to trigger you into reacting and so one video comes to mind the act don't react technique. I understand you have to calm down your flight or fight system and I've learnt a few things dealing with my family, breathe. Because we have to learn our triggers, forward plan the event in our minds, so we don't go into a situation unprepared and also know how our bodies react when under the pressure puts me under. Like fir me I try not to give any sort of reaction because I try and have control over myself but because I do that I don't breathe, so I've had to remind myself to breathe because if I didn't it won't calm the flight or fight system, and I have to try to remember to keep breathing because if I dont and I'm getting hurt it can trigger my temper when it eventually comes out.

Great video and very helpful ! I’ve been in a emotional/verbal abusive relationship and although I can’t diagnose I’m pretty sure he is a narcissist.. but not 100% definitely has some traits of one. I’m currently 7 months pregnant. This is my first child and also his first child. He has made my pregnancy very stressful and upsetting. He even threaten to take custody and in the future to tell our daughter what type of woman I am… he is already saying he is going to try to sabotage my relationship with her in the future. I decided to go no contact with him. We live in different states. I have been no contact for 6 weeks and I’m very proud of myself. At times I’m emotional and it’s difficult but overall I know this is the best time to do to protect my baby and myself of future abuse. I plan on not telling him when I go into labor because I don’t want to make it easy for him to get on the birth certificate. Long story short do you recommend me sticking with no contact ? Not to contact him when I go to the hospital ? I feel awful for taking that experience from him but he has been extremely disrespectful with name calling, putting me down, threatening and just so much stress and upset. Of course he has been texting and leaving voicemails for me to basically call him… and of course he hasn’t taken any responsibility and hasn’t apologized for anything.. I guess I have to say I’m not surprised. Would do you recommend ? Continue the no contact and stick to not telling him about when I go to the hospital ? If he truly wants to be involved with his daughter he can make the effort, spend the money and time to come out of state and do all the steps towards it. Please let me know your thoughts… I truly appreciate it.. Thank you so much.

Congratulations! I hope you stay strong. Whatever you do, make sure you document everything and if you feel unsafe with him, please make a police report and contact domestic violence hotline. Just talk and u will be surprised how much you gain knowledge or get help

You must of had the baby now...do no contact. If you contact it will mess up your life for good. You will be stuck with the Narc whenever he pleases, he will have his own girlfriends and you as the side chick treating you with no respect whilst one day he will marry and be happy with the new woman in his life Think carefully....you r doing nothing wrong. Move on eventually you will find a nice genuine person who will look after you and your daughter. X

Narcissism follows narcissistic videos, especially I told him "you're narcissistic" I sent him a video of narcissism."And occidentally, the background of the video was someone who looked exactly like him. On the whole, When he knew that he turn into following narcissistic videos to learn from them and then do the opposite and inspire me that he's not narcissistic.... He is very malicious !

It's good that she isn't speaking to your children. If she would, she would only either hurt them or use them as a weapon against you.

This explains why my ex can not get over the no contact.

My ex narc is like this but different. He has so many ex’s that he doesn’t hoover. Ive seen mine at the store. I killem with kindness and kept it movin. He can email all he wants… no thank you sir. Ive never met a nut like him in my life. I choose to be at peace.

I co parent with a narc and I went no contact but still let him call the kids on there own phone because my kids are old enough so I told him not to contact me and he went from being nice to flipping in me and now I had to get a retraining order

No contact means nothing for them as they treat it as a game. They think they will be able to hook you in again. I agree with the creating of drama and saying odd things just to trigger you. The narc in my life continued to harass me on my way to work by verbally abusing me and by invading my personal space and forcing me into a corner to make me uncomfortable. They tried again years after I left that place of work and sent an email out of the blue with lovebombing and fauxpology for their behaviour. Previously, I would have tried to appease the narc but I ignored their hoover attempts this time. 8:20 Stand firm and ignore the narcissist whatever they try to do. If it takes them 100 attempts to get your attention, they will keep doing it. Do not take the bait.

He stalks me. He sends flying monkeys to get my reaction. They make up girlfriends to make me "jealous" . They accuse mě of something i didnt do with the police. He threatens people around mě. He tries to make me believe that my family Is lying And pushing mě against him. He Is trying to do everything to play on my compassion or Anxiety.

I have no contact with 3 narcissist people I'm cordial, pleasant ,& do not react but only respond as I know what they are trying to do I'm emotionally dead to them, but never rude

This video is almost exactly what I’ve experienced but not from a spouse (34 years still going) but my ex best friend and son. 2 years and a couple weeks and heartbroken I will always be. Took me a really long time to realize I was just a ATM machine. Thanks for the positive vibes I’m headed In the right direction.

I am finding it hard to identify a narcissist because it seems everyone has an element of the narcissist traits. And almost everyone thinks a partner is a narcissist if something does not work well in a relationship.

is true my ex husband told me he was so bored, since he was always at home never worked. he was cheating on me with his high school friend. i found out when we got here in LA and he was doing this from a long time. he humiliated me in every way him and his family did this they knew this and were quiet about it, because i was the one who was financially taking care of both of us. i am going no contact since two weeks. We were married for almost ten years. i feel so betrayed and can’t understand how can a person do this things even though you explain this. these beings are heartless.

Actually its the narcissist ex gf who blocked me after luring me in by asking for help and ripping me off with a large amount of money. She questioned my feelings afterwards, tried to invalidate me that it is not a big deal why im upset in the first place.

The best thing I’ve ever done is recognize and heal my triggers so that the narcissistic people that were in my life cannot use them against me anymore. I’m still not perfect at it but I can definitely recognize when I’m feeling triggered and take time out until I can think clearly again.

Thank you so much you have honestly helped.. I ended the rationship to save my soul as I was broken, had no contact in 10 months and then yesterday he managed to text saying "come over" like everything was so normal. It bought back massive emotions and have been a mess the last couple of days. I have not messaged back and this has been a roller coaster 😐 xx
