What a amazing fight! A big bull like that is quite the accomplishment with a 30 lb leader! Way to go Brant!😮

No,, a blacktip and a spinner are not the same! The easiest way to tell which is which is by looking at the caudal fin. A spinner shark has a black tip caudal, a blacktip caudal is the only fin that does NOT have black on it. But both are delicious eating!

Respectfully, consider using a tailrope. Much easier and very safer. Barrett Rods sells a very nice 30' soft tailrope that doesn't harm the shark. Love mine. Ask around.

We caught the biggest blacktip I've ever seen on the longline once. I asked the observer(biologist) what they really were, he told me they are really silky sharks...so, who tf knows.

Hey man! That is my 20 foot high tripod, it’s what provides the angles that look like drone shots from the sky.

Tony, with a camera so far up in the air, how do you know when it’s at the correct angle to catch the action? Or, is that why we didn’t see any footage from it this trip? 😊

So I gave the footage to Brant to use. He used a little of it. I do pretty well capturing the right angles. You can see in this video how well the 20 foot tripod videos. kzread.info/dash/bejne/mp2srtmNdc3Umso.htmlsi=cvRgFBMBYUxjqLtm

LOL. "The Day I Froze? I've had sharks pull trout off my stringer many times, and I scream like a schoolgirl every time. A bull shark has two instincts - open its mouth wider and swim faster.

Question: WHY do they release back or not eat those BIG meaty sharks they catch..?
@nickwinn

The ecosystem needs those big sharks to keep things in balance. Shark is good but there's plenty of other better tasting fish to eat.

Bro.. please stop fiddling with that dam camera pole. Lol. I’ll be honest, when I hook up a nice sized shark, I just cut bait. I know that makes me a monster but to be fair, I don’t shark fish so if on eats my catch, that’s on him. That hooks gonna have to rust out. Sorry not sorry. I don’t mess with sharks😊

I would rather see a poorly shot video than to watch you continually running to adjust and then tote your tripod back and forth and your hands in front of the camera....I may get back to this video later.....yawnnnnnnn....

You spend so much time fiddling with your cameras you ruin the whole shoot. It's obvious you don't have a clue.
