Something I've learned with working with really talented people is...most general people are just numb to the magic of authentically performed music these days, they have short attention spans, they hear produced music everywhere all the time, and it's like "oh he's playing guitar, that's nice, anyway what was I talking about..." They are used to the idea that, as Radiohead would say, "anyone can play guitar," and it just washes over them. They may also not have the technical understanding of just how involved and impressive this level of tech-wrangling is as a solo live musician. This guy is fucking legit and they are witnessing years of dedication and practice and obsession. I go through it myself as an artist, I feel so proud to have mastered something and everyone else just hears "Yeah cool man sounds like music, anyway..."

I don't even think it's possible to transition to the coda without stopping the song dead in its tracks, so how you worked your way into that solo and that extended outro is probably about as good as it's going to get.

First off great video. Second, I'd be willing to bet the people who challenged you to play a Radiohead song probably left within 5 minutes because you met the challenge and called their bluff. Third, from the looks of the folks coming in and out of the door I doubt any of them even knew who Radiohead is hence the tepid response. You killed it. Be proud. I'm amazed at how you loopers break down songs to the components and rebuild magic before the audience's eyes. On a good day, they appreciate it.

This is very good. My favourite moment at a Radiohead related gig - Thom, playing solo, at Cambridge Corn Exchange (check it out, was probably arpimd 2006, and there's a great video of it on KZread) - and he got bits of this wrong. You did better ;). Although his crowd was better at filling in vocal harmonies, rather than walking by not realising they were in the presence of genius.

Displays his flawless technique well, I guess. Though to be honest there aren't many Radiohead songs that aren't incredibly layered and really difficult to do like this.
