Check out Nordpool Orchestra's "Radiohead - A Jazz Symphony". It Features some of their best Songs, arranged for Orchestra. Doesn't include the entirety of In Rainbows unfortunately, but it's still worth checking out.

Such an important part of the song. It’s the only through line for everything else to bounce off.

Those whispers under the lead vocals when everything cuts out is such a uniquely awesome idea to add and it works so well, what a cover

Shoutout to the girl just vibing behind the trumpets towards the end.

I have fallen DEEP down the rabbit hole of Radiohead covers on youtube lately, and this is right up there with the best. Kudos to all involved. Why doesn't it have more views?!

Disagree, that was the low point of this amazing performance. They were just not drawn out and not present in the last few lines, could've made a huge impact if they did

This has some wild School of Rock sequel vibes to it: A hipster music nerd falls ass-backwards into an adjunct professor job at a college of music. He spends the entire semester teaching a group of gifted musicians how to play Radiohead songs so that he can fulfill his nerd fantasy of elevated Radiohead compositions, while taking rips off a bong in the drum closet. The drummer even looks like a 21 year old version of the kid from the first movie.

There are many covers of Weird Fishes and most get a free win from covering one of the greatest songs of all time but this is the first I've seen that really elevates and complements the original with its own creativity and talent. Phenomenal job from all involved and massive kudos for your arrangement. I'm sure your students are very lucky to have a teacher like you.

Only 39k views.. Although it was uploaded two years ago, if anyone in this orchestra saw my comment, I would like to say: You are all awesome. And I hope I will be a part of something that is so beautifully intertwined with music and art as you are here.

Radiohead fan who has watched this 10 times and really likes it... but is now totally distracted by the tall, elegant lady on the extreme left who picks up a meditation bell at around 4:42. I am filled with questions! That's an instrument so why isn't she in the orchestra? Or why didn't they give the bell to one of the choir? Does she own it and refused to lend it to a chorister?... :-)

Absolutely gorgeous. And the extended bell ring at the end... just perfect.

This song went full circle from an orchestral piece by Jonny, to a Radiohead song, and back to these guys amazing orchestral interpretation

i’m currently listening to this song for like the milionth time. no one can understand the connestion i have with this version of this song. it was there at my highs but also lows and everytime it plays, i just get certain kind of feeling that everything is fine. i just turn off every though in my head and just listen to this masterpiece. well done everyone.

One of the best covers of a Radiohead song I have ever heard.

It's a rainy day and I'm feeling some kind melancholy, so naturally I went through every Radiohead arrangement on KZread and this is far and away the best.

I loved her voice. Perfection.

Thank you Mr. van Dijk. This arrangement causes tremendous waves of emotion through me as I listen. And though parts are sad or cause introspection, the ending crescendo of voices gives me hope and has helped me through my days. If I win the lottery I wish to gather together another orchestra and choir for you to guide so that I may sit and listen to it live and experience the wonder that the people in the audience must have felt that day.

I dont understand how no one is standing at the end of that. The second that note had finished ringing I would have gladly been the only person in the room to shoot up to a standing ovation.

Had me in tears. As much as I love the original, it doesn't do that, so you all managed to tap into something a little bit special.

When the music gives way to whispers I seem to start crying no matter how many times I hear this. What a delightful take on a classic Radiohead tune. One of the best covers I've ever heard by a mile. All the players here should be very proud (as well as the conductor).
