@necroblaze16 His position is the guy shouldn't have chased them onto his bus, the driver has a responsibility to his passengers. The guy with the sign should have called the cops, gave them the bus number, and let them handle it. The police would then send one unit to take his statement and the other would intercept the bus on its route and if the person who allegedly assaulted him was still on board they would detain them, if not then they would obtain the camera footage and investigate who they are. The issue is guy wasn't willing to do things properly because he went from being a victim to someone slighted and seeking retribution. He wanted immediate justice and frankly if you want that you're welcome to take it yourself in the street, but just be prepared to deal with repercussions.

Until there is a sign with a hatefull message against yourself, right? Then it's no longer "okay". Easy to say when you are not part of a minority that most people show hate against for no reason. Clearly that person in the bus sufferes deeply not just from the moron with the sign but has show deep sorrow for their existence. Maybe try to emphesize just for a second and maybe you can relate.
