No, because neither angels nor gods exist. But pets are certainly the closest thing to angels in reality. They are a gift for weary humans, no matter how you look at it.

God is nature imo.. And nature made animals, so, yes! But not just pets. All animals are a gift and we should treasure them the way native Americans did, by seeing them as part of God themselves :)

At my age, I find animals more comforting than people.

We had a black cat (they're so smart) who befriended a young skunk, about half grown. He hung out with it in the yard and protected it. Once he managed to get it into the house when we were gone. We thanked him for that. The little skunk never sprayed so all was good. Another time this same cat came home with a young deer. Sweetheart passed nearly 20 years ago but we still miss him. ❤

Big snakes don’t cuddle, they’re sizing up , for a meal.

i am amazed how two creatures that are so different from one another can play and have a good time without predujice...also shows kindness, compassion, love, and intelligence...sadly that are things that many many humans are lacking nowadays...

With all the hate and animosity going on every day, videos like this helps release serotonin and makes me happy even for just a little while. Love these.

We had a skunk that would get into the garage and eat all the cat food. He was big. I was in the garage and felt an animal brush against my leg so I sat on the steps and petted it thinking it was the cat. Nope. Someone opened the door from inside and I realized that I had spent about 10 minutes petting the skunk. You can image my surprise. He didnt spray us. We got lucky...

I was walking down my dark hallway one night and felt one of my many cats brush up against my leg. I bent down to pet him and on closer inspection noticed it was not a cat…..it was a possum. Funny how these wild critters want to be petted and loved😂

My daughter's cat had kittens and one day my daughter said something was wrong with one of them...I looked and she had added a baby possum to her litter , Missy grew up thinking she was a cat

When you ask someone what their favorite animal is, often times, you'll get something pretty exotic, as the entire Earth's animals are among the selection. I've come to find that the common dog is my most favorite type of animal. Dogs are simply THE BEST.

My dog was a crazy grump who was obsessed with attacking other dogs. But he had one friend- the dog down the street was of a similar temperament, and they had met as puppies. Bosco was only going to be good with Dempsy, and Dempsy was only going to be good with Bosco. 🙄 I loved both those guys!

That was pretty amazing to see the one dolphin that I thought was following along, suddenly turn into three, jumping perfectly in synch.

I used to have a pet skunk. De-scented of course. It was an awesome, adorable, loving and super playful pet to have that was almost litter box trained. LOL! Almost!
