This song is so dayum good!!! So many elements about it that I love. The lyrics for start. Ree Ree wrote a good one! But I really LOVE how they decided to just use Aretha’s vocals only on this one. (no backing vocals). She is her own background vocals this time. And layering them and she gets to play around with it. It really works well on this song. I also like the instruments used; for example you can hear the xylophone in this one. It adds to the personality of the song. And again, I must comment on how easily, this is one of those songs that can be danced to. (Hand dance/ball room/stepping). Aretha’s fast songs are ALWAYS great songs to cut a rug to.

This song is truly one of my favorites penned by the Queen herself......that entire album " Sweet Passion" is also one of my favorites it should've been a much bigger hit than it was!!!!

I saw her in concert 3 times live, and yes she could and she did! What a VOICE! Best female vocalist of ALL time! Aretha was and is the GOAT in singing, her music and voice lives on for the world to enjoy!

Announcer asked everyone to come back to jam with the new Queen Of Soul Saturday night. It is time for Aretha, and for a long time nothing. After about hour every light in the Coliseum, including lights in empty parts of the Coliseum and lights never used shown Miss Aretha Franklin reigning Queen Of Soul and the audience went wild. Aretha never put verbiage to the controversy. Aretha did things with that instrument that years later made prominent Divas sing backup. Aretha is a phenomenon!
