Areatha was the kind of person who could make an atheist praise the lord. She loved everybody. Her heart was opened to all. ❤❤❤

I clicked the like button even before the music started playing.

I have a testimony in regards to the anointing that is upon this album. Many years ago, I had relapsed. And the building in front of where I lived was a plumber and he had a secretary. She was a sho' nuff Christian. While I was laid out coming down off of serious binge, the secretary she kept playing Amazing Grace day in day out while she was at work. The enemy of my soul that had me by relapse had me by my innards was beating me up while she played this. I'm speak the truth. That shows you there is a major anointing on this album. Hallelujah! And this is one of the ones when I got saved that I had to buy. This particular album. This album is carrying me through many situations. And it will continue to carry me. Cuz I'm grateful for what I have been given through the sound of Amazing Grace by Aretha Franklin! I thank God! And I thank the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

Those were the days Aretha miss you.

I was 11 years old when this came out. My grandmother had a stack of gospel albums next to her 6-foot console stereo (trip lights, mini bar included) and Aretha's Amazing Grace album never left the turn table. I knew every riff, run, squall & adlib she made along with every single word of this album. For years I studied this album for phrasing, voice lessons and as I got old for encouragement, inspiration and salvation. It was a childhood staple.

Grace album, and sing a long , and I knew all of the. songs ,by heart , we used to play it. on our Akai record player ,this recording influenced my love , for gospel music, and worship music , am a song writer and worshiper , I thank the Lord for Aretha. How i got over??... i was born small...I always had a problem with big guys gettin over on me...I am 5 foot 6...i had a complex over that....i used to get into fistfights and alot of the devils work...... Lord rebuke that evil nonsense!!.....now that i have the spirit, i can take the biggest of them, and they listen to the message of the cross!!...not by power, not by might, but by the Holy Spirit...says the Lord, all are equal in god's eye.

This was playing every morning, especially Sunday mornings, in my Grandmother's home. Timeless and Priceless!

I was paralyzed in bed last year and I heard Jesus say out loud to me - If you believe in me get up and walk💜🕊💜 I got up and not only walked but went for a walk outside. Praise God!!!!! GOD IS ALWAYS WORKING!!!! ✌💜🕊🙏

My Mom bought it in 72 also, I was 5. Mommy put it on gave me the album cover and I could not believe it was Aretha Franklin. I had never heard a live album so you know I was fascinated. It was beautiful to me and had me a 5 yr old, who's household practiced Islam wanting to go to Church with my Baptist Grandparents to hear the choir. I knew my Mom and Dad wouldn't allow none of us to take it when we left 🤣😂🤣😂 and I'm not embarrassed to say over the past 30 years I've purchased it twice and like my Mom and Dad, I'll not part with it.

This was the "BEST GOSPEL ALBUM" that was ever sold the critics didn't want to admit that. Whether you were a sinner or saint this album touch something inside of you.

When God touch someone life it always makes a huge difference. She is really the best gospel singer I have known.

To date this is still the #1 selling gospel album. I bought it on vinyl in 74 and I still have. When the CD came out, I bought it as well. She was truly anointed on this one. QUEEN ARETHA

Aretha was truly a gift from God. She is 1:26:25 one of a kind and no one can come close to her anointing. This album lifted my spirit I needed to hear it today. This album is 50 years old and still delivers today. I stumbled across this album God knows just what we need. Thank you, Jesus.

Enjoying this album greatly! Rev. Cleveland said, " Over in the sanctified church they sing a little praise...!" The choir sings the "Yes, Lord" praise! The year 2023 is fast approaching and we/l are still singing it! And will until I go to glory or Jesus himself comes back for His church! COGIC BORN AND BORN AGAIN!!❤❤

Fact: Aretha Franklin was recording the live album in January of 1972 while in Chicago, Mahalia Jackson was in the hospital 🏥 dying and the record ⏺️ should be dedicated to the memory of the Late Queen 👑 of Gospel Mahalia Jackson! I don't know if she found out that Mahalia Jackson has passed away when the recording was going on!

I was singing"What A Friend We Have In Jesus " and I thought about Aretha Franklin and decided to listen to this magnificent album ❤️. I love it.There is no one better.
