I know, I loved when she closed the door and was like I’m done, I’m taking you to jail. I feel like sometimes cops give people too much grace and time when they have already refuse to comply. At that point take them to jail. Especially with criminal trespass (I have to ask for CT at bars I worked at on occasion) majority of the time the person can literally just walk off the premises and be done, but choose to be argumentative and push buttons. At that point you want to go to jail.

I 100% agree with you. But these guys know how to operate within the confines of the constitution. And it's really hard to put someone away because you think they're a danger and they most likely are but they're not doing anything dangerous at that moment you just can't arrest people because you think they're going to commit her crime later on unless there is no doubt that a crime will be committed. The best thing to do is for the victim to get an order of protection against that person. In some places depending on the judge or the police it could be tricky which it shouldn't be. If you feel threatened by anybody you should be allowed to get an order of protection without question

It’s stupid but it has to do with physical evidence. There’s no proof that the stalker was on your property. If you’re able to catch them on camera on your property more than once then you can have them trespassed. If you have them trespassed then they can go to jail for trespassing. Stalking is a weird concept and the law doesn’t really recognize that unfortunately. It’s frustrating but it also has to do with the whole innocent until proven guilty. That’s why stalkers back in the day almost never got caught bc there weren’t any cameras on peoples properties and there was no phone recording peoples location. Looking isn’t illegal, trespassing is, and if they continuously try to call and text you then it can also be considered harassment. So if you think someone is stalking you, try to document and record everything. It’s essentially the only way to prove anything. And you need multiple instances of this person being on your property that are provable. Hope this helped

It can be construed as something else if the other person doesn't clearly see what you're doing or know what it is you're doing. I'm a LEO and your right. Most states don't have harsh enough laws against stalkers. If arrested their out the same day. It's not until they take it to the next level and their victims are injured or worse killed something is done. This guy seems like he could easily become violent. I'm sitting here, watching 30 year old Phillip, as a 27 year old, and I'm just in awe that I can witness a fully grown man wailing in the back of a squad car to a Mother he was previously cussing and disparaging at to the point the neighbors called for a domestic incident. She probably cried and stupid cops where like, ohh you poor victim. That or they are hooking up (sorry just threw up in my mouth a little bit). Multiple times the cops covered up the fact that Paulie and Abby know each other. Cop should have his qualified immunity stripped. I bet another $10,000 he was literally reading and deleting them right in front of the cop at the bar while he interviewed the guy who witnessed nothing and never saw a knife. Then cuts him off when he he points out that "what's his name" was yelling. Finally, who was the original stabbing vicim months prior? He was on probation, would have been cleared in under 2 years. There is no victim! Research it. There is zero info about it. Likely Abby and the cop who's "always been cool" to him likely framed him for that too. Some cop's egos are as predictable as the sunrise. Literally none of Abby's story makes sense and she tried lying about every aspect of it, even denying her own kids! Didn't stop the cop from feeding the paper rocks scissors lie to the actual victim. Cop and Abby belong in prison!
