Feel like the dude was terrified as much as he was blabbering. Not saying the cops were in the wrong but I feel like if this dude was legit spooked as hell due to being in a crowd of people with a bunch of cops towering over him, shoulda probably set him to the side and have an officer 1:1 talk to him about what was gonna happen and why he was being detained and can't leave. Probably would have cooled his nerves unless he was throwing a fit as an act to get away. Then again, the cops don't have to coddle you with instructions after the first few times + he was an adult, so I don't think it was their fault.

@@LaurenOrion I’m not sure what your educational background has anything to do with this topic. That’s why I didn’t mention mine. You’re a newbie, and I wish you well, but after more than 40 yrs as an MD myself from an Ivy League school, I am retiring. I am also a single mom But my children respect law enforcement. Stats show that unruly, disrespectful kids under the age of 18 as a qualifier, come from single parent homes. I was wrong making that statement, though, because it was a generalization, and that is never ok. I think that was the issue that you were upset about, and I apologize for that. In fact, I’m going to edit that out because ir can be considered inflammatory, and not always true. Dude, as a teacher, "what am I doing?" is the HALLMARK of someone doing what they're not supposed to be doing. If someone tells you "I didn't do shit..." you better believe they did some shit. If I had a dollar for every time I've broken up a fight with a kid telling me "I didn't do nothing," I'd be a millionaire.
@kennyfresquez7019

Literally TODAY had a kid tell me "no shit" when I asked if they were fighting. You can CATCH today's kids in something without question, but they will come at you with "can you prove it in court?" It's insane to have middle schoolers thinking that they've got the skills of a lawyer, but it DEFINITELY happens. It seems parents today have trained their kids to be on the lookout if anyone violates their rights, while ALSO asking them to violate people's rights. "You can't hit me or punish me in any way, but if I'm pissed off, I get to hit someone, including (or especially) YOU" is basically the feel of education today.

You take a million people who think it could ever be OK for cops to ever give verbal order to sit or lie on the ground under any circumstances, and they don't add up to a cockroach. If the person in question would actually obey, they are so "Simon Says" obedient that the only reason to give the command is sadistic degradation and sickening abuse. I've been in thousands of containments working alongside law enforcement, and the only reason a human being would bring someone to the ground is they are struggling so hard, you HAVE to force them down to gain control... so verbal commands are out the window.

I agree to a certain extent but that’s not ALWAYS the case. Some kids just turn out badly even when they have two supportive and strict yet loving parents. Some of these cases could have had just that but somehow wound up with a bad seed. It can’t ALWAYS be blamed on the parents. Sometimes people just need to take personal responsibility because there are people who grow up with sh*tty parents and even worse schooling and turn out to be law abiding, productive members of society.

Hope that was only the alcohol speaking for the future benefit of the baby.

Mom be so proud. Trent filming his crimes got gun as well.
It is ridiculous to see a neighborhood of people assume that just because someone is of the same color as they are that they are innocent, especially considering the fact that they have no idea why they were arrested.
...that super dramatic soap opera music is just perfect for the first case. Like dang, dude, just stfu already and chill. Guy is like spinning out of control for no reaso. I've never been so annoyed watching cops try to talk to someone...
