I became a shell of myself and a complete wuss as a result of quarantine. She got turned off by my emotional unloading on her and acting like a desperate loser. She ceased contact for good because I never listened to her need for space. Now I really give her space. I hope she will write me again :(

I didn't even know there was a such thing as no contact. Mine kept holding "her" house over my head and kicking me out over little petty things. Then she sent a few little texts. I would agree with this mostly, exceptions do appear though - my uncle had 3 breakups with his gf before they got married but damn is it a strong marriage - they were always meant for each other but they were on/off during university because of various stresses, and the fact that they both weren't quite mature enough for a relationship

My boyfriend and I just broke up last week because we've both been really stressed with covid, figuring out jobs after graduation, and a lot of family issues going on in his life right now. It was a pretty mutual decision to end things, but both of us are optimistic about the future. We started dating right before the pandemic so we really never had the chance to just enjoy our relationship, which just added to the stress.

I’m gonna be honest. I have been loving the solitude of this quarantine. I’m a musician so this gives me time and space to work on my music. For those desperate for contact with another person try instead to focus on a creative project. This is a much better way to spend your time. In fact it is the most fulfilling use of time in my opinion. And it feels great.

I can not say how much this video helped me. Im currently separated from my wife past 4 months and have no contact now for 30 days. That’s exactly what I did. I begged my boyfriend, my partner, of 10 years, to stay. But he chose to walk out of my life. Even though he was the one that messed up and hurt me. H H I let them go... it was more of a pain waiting around and trying to make things work. I had to respect myself and just choose myself instead. No one is far more important when it comes to my happiness and they took that from me. Now it’s time for me to find a new happiness and learn to love myself once again❤️

Thank you for this video. This is exactly the point I have landed on! (for the first time in my life) I feel like Im almost done/but maybe not with a relationship (my second one). Long story, but here goes. The weirdest thing is that we only know eachother 5 months, but it was such a strong rollercoaster ride, so powerful. But even though our relationship was in many ways something great, our situation, also now with the corona isn't ideal. We didn't see each other for 4-5 weeks, and ultimately I got pointed for a maximum of 3 discussions we had. She dislikes confrontations. And I dislike confrontations also. It seems so small, but somehow has a major impact now. But in some things I stood for having a confrontation because my belief is that when talking through with someone getting to ultimately a point where we both can stand for and grow greatly from it ( it was very well meant) backfired on me. To make matters worse. Is that this discussion was our biggest and dragged on for a longer time where I tried to pursway her, and she wasn't listening to the point and she was discussing something else. It's difficult to explain how it all exactly went, but let's say we both made choices that we could have dealt with better. Especially because we don't know each other in that sense so much that we don't even know anything about each other in this regard of what we expect, values and so on. Because these are the things you normally only find out in "alternating" situations. And this happened in the time of Corona and these talks happened in text form. So really it's even hard to even convey your emotions 100% through texting, and some things really was taking ultimately harder for her than I expected. She wasn't so nice to me, and between us 2, I was sad for 2 days after this discussion has taken place. I couldn't really be 100% myself to her. But she then approached me addressing this and that's where I stopped being like that and went over it. But this is where the problems started because she afterwards lingered more and more in negativity and said that I am negative, and coming with conclusions and absolutes. And this now drags on for weeks and to the point where I am mentioned as me being loving, and that my intentions are good, but but I some way of communicating reminds her of her ex, and that is for her super scary she says. While really, Im sooo a well meaning person. I came out of a 12 year long relationship myself and am always strongly caring, trying to be respectful, and so on. And that what she says, is now based on 1 moment where I make a choice to stand by something I believed in in a discussion (what she names as a confrontation). And everything, our whole relationship is entirely being in the balance because of that. And I am trying my best with well meaning, my love and reason, and good will, but nothing is even nearing her. And the thing I have the biggest difficulty with is that in these last 5 weeks of Corona where this happened, she talked less and less and she says that she has anxiety when she things about me or talks with me. And apparently she once told me she had anxiety with people, but that with me she doesn't have that. But that is aside the point. But she really is now at a point where she doesn't reply to me trying to make her realize that this is all not worth being negative over and to linger so much in and that we need to talk both constructively over this and with good will to grow together and get over it. But she doesn't reply on any of it now. She says she needs her space and time, and see if "this settles". Meaning her fear or something of me (who was entirely unaware) that I somehow remind her of her boyfriend who was was bad to her. It's all getting very complicated, because till 5 weeks ago, our 3,5 months before where ma-gi-cal. And she already said that she doesn't know how to be without me. She wanted to be always next to me, and every possible compliment. And now it's 180 degrees turned with me trying to get in connection with her and sync and let our relationship grow. So again. She said 2 times that she needs time and space and sees if this (her fear, anxiety, or whatever it is) settles. But I don't know. I have immense difficulty with how she for weeks now doesn't really communicate with me, and now almost not at all. Especially knowing that I was literally everything to her just 5 weeks ago. I feel a lot of pain, and the greatest of this pain is that I cannot talk to her and that Im being left in the dark. A rule I have set for myself even in my first 12 year long relationship that whatever I do, I will always need to leave the other in good energy and comfort, so that that person doesn't linger or is unaware and gets in difficulties. And now I am carrying this for 5 weeks and it's getting stronger now that I feel like I have done and said everything I could have said, even having read so many articles, of professionals, of which I stated 2 quotes to her in my last text to her, that it's incredibly important, as difficult as it may be, to communicate with each other, as research shows it has no therapeutic value whatsoever and impacts a relationship negatively down the line if you dont communicate together, among other relevant things that I feel are important in our relationship. This I wrote yesterday. But alas. No answer. The other problem is is that she is online on Facebook, and on my work mail (she is a person I know from work and we both fell in love with each other), and she doesn't reply to me but we both work and we both are online. It is such a weird thing to me, and I have never experienced this in my life like that. My last relationship before really wanted all the best for me, and me for her and we always tried that in whatever situation we were in, to handle it. And but I fell out of love in that one, but for years tried to uphold that one, even though I was out of love, thinking I would be able to do it, but ultimately I couldn't anymore. But despite all that, that ex-person of mine, was incredibly well willed and even though she never wanted to lose me, she wanted the very best for me. And she never was angry, she gave her love. But then this person that Im in this situation with right now, is in such a different way, that everything what I did before, like trying to get to a conclusion in a discussion so that we grow and move on, up to the point of yesterday, that I feel out of option, but to let it fully sail on her way. She only abides by what she feels, and even though I tried to explain things, it didn't matter to her. And just her saying that something changed for her, and that she needs space and time to see how it goes and that she went through a terrible relationship before, and that it gives her double pain of me reminding her of something from her ex, and that that is super scary to her. She also said that she can't write pages about it because it costs her too much energy and then she cant focus on work at all. But she appreciates how much effort and energy I put in our relationship. But first she needs to see if this calms down she says. And that is her last real thing she said. But I don't know. I have an incredibly difficult time in the last 5 weeks, because we went from absolute magic, with her words being endlessly beautiful, to this state, with now her not answering my last try of coming together and solve it together. No. I'm excluded. And this is where I am. I feel very sad, although me writing this down somehow gives comfort. But yeah. I guess the only thing that I have is to take atleast my power back for starters.

You didin't contact a week ??? a week is definetly not enough for your ex to miss you... nor 30 days are enough ! between 2-4 months your ex will propably miss you !

Thanks for this video. 💯 I was the one broken up with and I pleaded like a fool. I haven’t spoken or texted him in 3 weeks now and even though it was so painful in the first week, the depression and all really hit, trust me it gets better with each passing week. I think that was when I started to realize that HE was the one who gave up not me and that speaks volumes of a person’s character. Someone who gives up on you is just weak and not worth your time and love. Be thankful that you are not in that position! Also, if you’re the one who pleaded to fight for the relationship, don’t ever give him the satisfaction of being the one to first reach out again down the line. You’re just going to undo all the work you did to get out of the mess.

Sis, im currently taking my power back and your video just gave me even more confidence in what im doing.

After a month, I still cry every couple days. It is definitely really hard to go through this after being together for so long. It’s hard to lose him as a friend as well. Thanks for the advice in this video, it really helps.

Best thing to do if you can? - Agree with the breakup, walk away, and THEN go no contact. It basically speeds up the whole process - they feel insecure and semi-rejected immediately, because you prove your strength and demonstrate higher value. Thank God I had enough self-respect to step away and did no contact/ radio silence: Let him taste life without me in his. He came back after 6, 7 months and stayed forever.
