Within the interior context of your own mind, you are the god of your own autonomous dimension of subjective reality - a reality in which you can create absolutely anything you wish out of the living fabric of your very own personal being. So, in a limited sense, you already know what it feels like to be God.

But isn't the perception of being a singular individual something of a pragmatic mistake? That is, it works but isn't very accurate. Identity is a construct and the human organism is complex, with many players. Are you saying imagination is the god feeling? It could be.

@@projectmalus Hi Project Malus, The question in the video title asks: “What Would it Feel Like to be God?” In which case, what I am saying is that the ability to imagine is the one attribute that we all possess which allows us to “feel” what it is like to grasp the fabric of reality and shape it (will it) into anything we wish. And seeing how the ability to will the phenomenal features of the universe into their multifarious forms seems to be the primary attribute of God’s being, then perhaps the “feeling” of such creative control over reality is similar. Now with that being said, I’m a little confused with the first part of your question. Are you implying that you do not view yourself as being a singular individual? Please clarify. _______

@@TheUltimateSeeds Over the last few years I've been assuming a slightly different identity that tries to move away from the ego driven singular "I". This doesn't mean multiple personalities, it means adopting a role as steward, captain etc...still singular, but open and responsible at the same time. This lead to a perception of myself as a conduit, for what I perceive as the energy of the universe. The trick to this is selfless giving at one end which seems to bring in...what exactly I'm still trying to define, but it could be imagination, creativity, or the opening of the commons in which these happen. So what you said about the imagination being a place of creation strikes me as true, but it doesn't change the structure of our individual existence ie our human body, it happens on another level. The body is more or less fixed. This could translate to "how it feels to be God" if God is also a steward, the universe is more or less fixed, and the important part is not the body so much (the universe in this case) but the expression of energy in different ways. It's the opening up of the ability to manifest in different ways that's important. To me this says that a believer who tries to fix a singular persona of a god in place is actually on a tightrope, with an anthropomorphic God on one side and a steward God on the other. The first diminishes the commons of creativity and the second increases it. Identifying as the latter, opening up this conduit, answers the title question. "It feels rewarding in a way that allows more expression, if I diminish my ego: It feels rewarding but doesn't go anywhere if my ego is too singular." It seems to me that believers who promote this singular, anthropomorphic God are perpetuating their own nature as they perceive it. Fear begetting control?

@@projectmalus Thank you for that well-worded and thoughtful explanation of what you meant in your first reply. And yes, anthropomorphizing God is extremely problematic. Indeed, I personally view the problem of humans anthropomorphizing God as being metaphorically similar to the fanciful analogy of a bunch of watermelon seeds - suspended within the pulp of the melon - erroneously assuming that the fully-fruitioned melon somehow resembles their little seed pods. The truth is that never in their wildest dreams would the seeds ever be able to fully comprehend that their entire “universe” is not only their Creator’s body, but also that they themselves were imbued with the inner-potential of each becoming melons like the one they are momentarily held within. Now in the context of this KZread comment section it is very difficult for me to fully explain what I am getting at with that wild metaphor. However, if you (as the deep thinker you appear to be) are at all interested, then have a look at the more than one hundred drawings and illustrations I created to support the theory, and see what you think. I posit that if you were great enough to manifest into being all that you can imagine, simply by force of mental will, that is the next level of greatness above what we are, but just think of things that are even greater than what we can imagine. I believe that the true reward in heaven is for us to actually be what we imagine God to be (but not in a way that takes away from God, but actually glorifies Him). I believe that all creation glorifies God period even though most people may not be able to connect the dots. For example, good or bad, everything that is created is the truth and God is the ultimate truth. Now this is what it is like to be God - Uncreated, yet beyond infinitely >(greater) than everything that is created. Imagine what its like to be greater than existence and nonexistence both at the same time (because both of these things were created, even nonexistence would not be a thing unless God made nonexistence to be nonexistence). Then imagine reality - that which contains everything that is created (as well as everything that is not reality) and imagine every other reality that there could be, that is not in any way similar to reality as we know it. God is greater than all that too. Not greater but something beyond greater and not even that either but something that is uncreated that beyond infinitely exceeds/excels/is greater than all of this - and even beyond that - but the on a God "level" which is beyond the scope that any created word/idea/reality can convey. This is because the Uncreated God and His creation are not the same thing. It can't be because God is beyond the limits of having limits. Even beyond the limits of reality and infinity because even those things are brought into being by God, but are not God's self, these are things that God brought into being. God also did not create Himself because the idea of creation/being created is a created thing and in the realm of creation. God is beyond/greater than any reality or non-reality that can be posited in any created terms. To be God is greater than the ultimate satisfaction/pleasure/greatness that can be imagined. All this being said, God created everyone "on purpose" and is "closer" to you than even your own self. How do I know all this? Through much though of what could possibly be "the greatest" that there could ever be in a genuine, intuitive way of thinking of God.

Thank you for another probing video exploring questions about "God". My view is: it would not be possible or even conceivable for homo sapiens such as ourselves to come close to knowing: What would it feel like to "be" God? Assume "God" is defined approximately and provisionally as: An ultimate primordial source of all-things, and supreme creator of the observable universe and beyond. All-Powerful, All-Knowing, All-Present, All-Good and All-Free. Then, we as mere mortals - forever locked in our space-time universe with its particular constants and conditions with limited perceptions and at our stage of brain evolution - could not hope to truly "know" of such a “God". “God" would simply be of such a staggering and stupifying nature so far beyond us that we could not understand it further. An arguably more interesting topic might be the opposite question: All the many ways we as limited, mortal human beings in a particular fixed time-space Universe could NOT truly know about "God" - if there is a "God" as defined provisionally above. At the least, this would help to identify and clarify all the ways in which we humans, and our perceptions, senses, environment, data and data-gathering, are limited from knowing Ultimate Reality - or for that matter anything close to such a reality. Thus, we would know better about the limits of our final knowledge. Just my 2 cents. Thanks again for the video.

The suffering of the world maybe like under going a life saving operation it brings pain and suffering but the end result. Brings us joy. The fullfilment. Is worth the pain. So god sees the end result the after life is worth the suffering. Because its temporary. Compared to eternity.,. Where we will live without pain and suffering,,,

I don't know about the meaning of a God by human beings, however relative to energy, human beings are energy that has developed a 'sense' of themselves. What I observe is that we human beings operate out of intention. Thus logically I would expect if 'intention' is a fundamental energy or energy of force behind it, there should be an energy relationship to 'intention' that is observable as a difference between cause and effect and universal amongst and embedded in everything. A major observation is that human beings and all other life forms, from cells on up, has the intention to survive which is fundamental and appears universal. How "fit" or lucky we are determines whether we survive in the long term sense of evolution over and "in time". If intention is a universal energy form embedded "in time" (moment of now), then we should be able to observe everything that manifests physically and mentally out of us as human beings as intentional (in which I do). If intention energy truly exists prior to everything else, then everyone should be able to 'sense' the intention, prior to existence, whether it be intentional thought, intentional design or intentional physical form (don't know if you do, but I do). Isn't the cause of all our physical actions fundamentally intentional? (despite the randomness). Even extrapolated to the courts of law in society, where facts are part of the truth, ultimately, it is the 'intention' that can fundamentally determine guilt or innocence, so intention has weight/mass/energy.

I could imagine God as a "big brain", nothing compared to the influenced Gods in our minds. A magnitude of a brain that creates everything out of an unknown energy to us, a continuously working brain creating to us known universes, because that's all we can comprehend and percept as our reality and living room. A self functioning concept of reality, from the smallest particles to the endless greatness, from the absurdum to wisdom, from evil to justice, including every conscious perception of remodeling to acceptable results with no other option. That's the kind of Creator I presently can think about.? ?

Do you know how you are able to drive a car to a destination and all the while either hold a conversation with the passenger in the car, and maybe even sing along to the song on the radio? Hold on to that. Now think about the times you feel like listening to music, and you also want to watch TV at home. You have to decide which one to do. If there IS a God, this is a conscious being that can do an infinite amount of things at the same time, at every instance. The being is aware of every atom in the universe and is capable of focusing on them at each moment in time. A God may feel pleasure in the infinite consciousness, without boredom (boredom correlates to the passage of time. God doesn’t feel time like we do, God is outside of time) because there are many moments that you and I want to be conscious of more than one thing at a time, we know just how little power we have. However, knowing how to drive from point A to point B, and hold a serious conversation or sing along with a song at the same time is pretty cool too. A huge leap from the animals that can only focus on one thing at a time. ✌️

When I am thinking about God, in a way I feel sorry for him. He can have, feel, and taste, ANYTHING he wants... :-( Maybe that's why he created us. To feel through our emotions and senses. If something like this is happening, it is disturbing. And it makes me kinda sad, the fact that someday I will cease to exist, without ever known, what was all about.

I really enjoy this series and I have recently made an observation. When you are interviewing religious leaders about they more often than not will assign God a masculine gender. I think this is very short sighted and I struggle with the concept of an almighty having a clearly defined gender. I notice a few of the people in your videos that seem to avoid this including yourself. Just a simple observation. I am not trying to state anything else.

Of all of the questions one can ask in getting 'Closer to Truth', this is the most important one should ask, and keep asking oneself. Since one is always approaching their own existence from a subjective position, what better way to approach the question of The Almighty's existence, thoughts, desires, and abilities, but to first empathize with The Almighty, and how it might apply to oneself? What does keep an almighty, immortal being from becoming bored, for instance, how would it do it, and where do humans fit into the equation? "Is it not written in your Law that you are gods...?" - Jesus Christ, John 10:34. (Not limiting myself to Christianity. I draw inspiration from many religious systems, both exoteric and esoteric, Eastern and Western, along with philosophy, science, math, language, etc., and try to fit the puzzle pieces together. The quote from John 10:34 is one of those puzzle pieces of many others found elsewhere, but this one quote I'd put near, or in, the center).

To be like God is mans ultimate wish. Thats y we aspire for perfection ,beauty, Love, and power. This is the image in which we are created. This is the primate nature of man in which he is created. To become the embodiment of Virtue! To cultivate the manners necessary for being in His presence in this world and the hereafter. The real message of abrahmic religions is to prepare man for that ultimate bliss, to journey into God. To complete Gods favor upon Man/woman. But its easier said than done. 1 in 10 million becomes a billionaire, and 1 in 1 billion gets the ultimate Phoenix. The rest will ultimately get bit of share of His mercy but in their own degree, even the most evil among us! The elites will be like Stars to the regular human beings! Its said that in the hereafter a few men will get a letter from God saying thus... "This is from the One who when He wishes for a thing to be done says Be! And It Is! From now on when thou will wish a thing to be done, thou shall also say Be! And it will be! But who has conquered his innate lower self and adopted virtuous ethics but a few! "Wash yourself and walk up the tavern! For this ruined convent may not be polluted by you!"

God is the source of all consciousness !! Source of all emotions ! So, God can feel( has the ability to) all of human emotions such as anger, hate, love, sadness, pain ,happiness, remorse etc etc etc.. God is even more sensitive than any other humans....God is the God of intellect, God of emotion, God of Will ... God is somehow felt responsible for all , even if He did not willed it, like, "the Fall of Man and Angel " that caused so much suffering and grief throughout History... .God felt responsible in creating such creatures, though God's purpose and motivation for creating them was for Goodness sake, but it turns out the opposite( became evil , bcoz he gave them freedom))) had became the reality... So, with all of that ,,,, How does it Feel to be God ?? As God, can you just do whatever you wish/ want ?? Why God cant just anihilate and get rid of all evil( people) in an instant with his almighty power ? Why didnt God just replaced( Adam/ Eve and Lucifer ) and created new human beings/ Angel that completely obeys Him without sinning/ rebeling and without falling away ?? God is a God of laws and God of Principle...God is even Under His own Laws , His own rules and Laws, He cannot just violate them, though He can since He is God..... God is the most broken hearted being in the Universe.!!! Do you think God likes to be in the position of a JUDGE , knowing that He will put to trail and Judge His own wayward, prodigal ,sinful own children, then throwing them( if found guilty) away to prison called Hell to suffer.... . God is a loving father, He will probably like in the position of a Father sacrificing(( trying to find ways to stop the execution of his children ) everything to save His children Than in the position of a heartless , Emotionless JUDGE...... Thanks God, and Thanks to Jesus, Jesus came as our defense attorney againts the Satan, the prosecutors and great accusser..... The case is close...🤣😂😅

@Ruby Badilla "One who is truly awakened and/or enlightened understands that the Universal Self is the creator of all experiences and that he IS that (“tat tvam asi”, in Sanskrit)." Thou art That! Oh ye children of Immortal Bliss! Existence, Consciousness, Bliss... Advaita Vedanta is an amazingly deep and rich philosophy, and even if one doesn't attain complete, permanent and irrevocable enlightenment one (and everyone one associates with) can benefit immensely from the teachings and practices. My temperament is more attuned to the Jnana and Raja aspects though I do find tangible benefits from the Karma practices. I've only recently come to explore the philosophy in detail after a decade of diving into anything consciousness related combined with Buddhist meditation, specifically Vipassana and choiceless awareness/do-nothing meditation. If approached with earnest desire and diligent practice there are tangible benefits. Very tangible. Plus some of the core writings are beautiful and profound: The Ten Principal Upanishads, The Bhagavad Gita and the Ashtavakra Gita.

Imagine listening to all those prayers. Enough to drive anyone crazy! Yet, he also designed it that way. Funny how the Christian God is made in man's image. The monarchical king sitting on a throne somewhere in the clouds. But we need to drop these old ideas of God because if you ask a Hindu what does it feel like to be God, they will say it feels like enlightenment or waking up. Because the real lowdown is of course that we are God, most of us just haven't found out yet. It's not the king on a throne somewhere in the sky. It's really us. It's the universe experiencing itself through consciousness of which we are a witness.
