I was just thinking how more people in UK and Europe need to know about GrowTowers after you told me about them a few weeks ago. I cannot wait to get my hands on a Greenstalk, been eyeing them for years. I already have my planting plans for the Leaf planter! 😅 There are some flowers on the top tier, to make a floral crown, maybe alternating with strawberries. Then I have various lettuces, kale, bok choi, chives, chard and various herbs. They'll be used as cut and come again, so they're not getting too huge and I'd also love to sprinkle some micro/dwarf tomatoes among them.

Well done, a well deserved award. It just goes to show how many people appreciate the hard work you put into this channel. With your help I've become more confident in the garden, bought tools and planters such as the quad grows that I never knew existed. Congrats on the CHS win, Eli! So glad to see you're getting recognised for the efforts you put in to teaching gardening (although I know that's not why you do it). I've been in envy of your tower since you first showed it to us. I have a small garden and 2 young kids, so grow space is really limited and I've failed completely to grow greens, salad stuff and pak choi/tatsoi for the past 2 years in a row - they've all been eaten off by slugs (the dog ran off with the beer trap - don't ask...). I don't have the space for lots of pots or stands, so I'd just about given up on ever being able to grow these things, especially the pak choi over winter. Kids would love a tier each, I'm sure, to grow their own things too. So fingers crossed, because something like this would make a huge difference to the grow space in our garden (and slug defences). Anyway, thanks for sharing the ideas and I hope to do some more grow-alongs with you this year! #GROWTOWERSWITHELIANDKATE

Having my strawberries closer to the house may deter Mr and Mrs Blackbird tucking in to the sweet delights. My daughter is a new gardener last year was her first year. Her garden is in Leeds and is very shady with several trees and so is a slug and snail haven. She would love this to grow her strawberries, salads, tomatoes mangetout and also spinach in. I am THE biggest Eli and Kate fan this side of the pond 😊. Very very new gardener so I hang onto every word. Not that our gardening scene are the same with me living in the oldest desert in the world but I am winging it with your help ❤.

If I won the Growtower I would grow chillies, spring onions, chinese leaves, coriander, bush beans and tomatoes, plus a few flowers like chamomile, calendula and nigella. I’d like to grow my own kimchee with a kick!! And the flowers are for my homemade lotions and potions! #growtowerswitheliandkate I think I would grow - chives - sage - thyme - tumbling rosemary - garlic - spring onions - lettuce - lambs lettuce - beetroot for baby leaves - reddish - Parisian Market carrot- swiss chard - strawberries - dwarf peas - dwarf french beans - tumbling tomatoes - some beding plants And the list goes on. I have a very small garden but want to grow as much food as I can and having all this in one place will be fantastic

I think I'd try baby sweetcorn, peppers and tomatoes. Oh and some flowers to feed the pollinators. I'd try Aubergines and courgettes. I just need to hide it from the pesky deer! #growtowerswitheliandkate I was sitting there all the time, thinking Eli’s gonna forget that watering tray. 😋Low and behold, she did 😂 If I had the Greenstalk then (I definitely want one now after saying this, you’re a bad influence Eli🤭) I would put definitely strawberries, in the next row I would put pansies, I think then another oh I would put more strawberries because I eat a lot of strawberries😊, then a row of nasturtium, (prince charm 🦹🏻‍♂️🐜). then spring onions, another row of dwarf Cosmos. I think in the bottom row I would probably put herbs in peppermint basil and Rosemary. I would definitely use the nasturtium (🦹🏻‍♂️🐜)and basil to keep the beasties away. 😊
