Winner of a video, I been tryin to find out about "do i need a license to sell homemade dog treats?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Seyenjamarn Bizarre Superiority - (should be on google have a look )? It is a great exclusive product for discovering how to sell pet baking goods without the hard work. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my neighbour got excellent success with it.

My favorite tip was to Focus on ONE THING... I constantly feel like I need to be able to do everything and that tip helps me remember I DONT!! thanks. Loved all the tips.

Do you have any tips on the legal side of starting a bakery business? Or programs you use for keeping organized with all your customers? I did a "taste tester" of my quiches and I have reorders on mu second week! 100% positive reviews. I am an unemployed music entertainer that always loved cooking for my family. Now my community wants my homemade foods! This lit the spark inside me, that dimmed and I have missed this excitement...since the closure of venues. Now I am thinking I need to pursue this! I am watching your videos and learning a lot. Thank you!

The first tip was so helpful. I am starting a vegan bakery in an area with a higher need than people realize, but nothing like it. So, naturally I want to offer EVERYTHING, but yes, I should start small with cakes and cookies. Perhaps I will offer specialty items seasonally.

Thanks really, fast, genuine and good information. Have a Q about if you have to attend courses or school to do a bakery-career? Seems like you attended courses or did you attend some education? It says you can study aside an experienced and go to around 2-2.5 years. The last one seems to be alot. If I would go I think I know what is the best that is to go beside a company and see, feel and try and also aside study theoretic. Here in EU is like if you pay a course you can do it within some months but when you study for free it takes 1.5 - 2 years generally of any education. Do you have any tip on books to start up with?

My mom bought few things for my small business (bakeshop), sadly one thing is missing and we ran out of funds 😢 badly need an oven (secondhand oven is a wonderful blessing). I'm a chef and baker. I need someone to fund my oven and some little money for groceries. I promise I won't let you down ❤💯 I just want to help my mom, she's working overseas and sick. I just want to feel her hugs and kisses before something bad happens to her. 😔

Of course thanks for your video, but I was waiting for licenses part. What about licenses? I read an official website but didn't get how much permits should I get to make homemade cakes.

Where will I get some of the podcasts to watch and also which book will you recommend for a beginner?

I'm a hobby baker and i just started an instagram page for my home bakery but am receiving very little support in advertising from friends and families, which makes me a little demotivated. i REALLY wanted to make this a business, but i feel like its hard to get exposure. Pricing your time will be up to you! I definitely recommend paying yourself more than minimum wage though.

I run my home bakery business in India and soon i m planning to shift canada. Doea i need any specific certificate to again start my home bakery. Or i can initiate it normally i.e. with any certificate or liscence????

You can definitely use salted butter! When you use unsalted, you can adjust the amount of salt you add in, so you can try using unsalted and adding in the salt yourself

Hi Juna! I find working and collaborating with local vendors helps a lot. When you partner with them, you're building up your team of referrals and word of mouth is so powerful. Instagram helps a lot too! You can use local hashtags for local clients to find you, and you can even host pop up events at nearby coffee shops, floral shops, etc.

Hi Hava! It's really up to you, but if you're just starting out, I'd recommend choosing one thing to focus on - especially if you're doing this by yourself without a team.
