The poverty, the hustling, the everyday struggles, the loan shark, the unfair gold boss, the unfair guy with the gold smelter and then you see their smiles, hear their laughter see them in their fun days just playing cricket and their lives just go on living on hope and faith that one day I'll make it big and get out of here...I wish all them them the very best that life can offer them👏👏👏🙏

I am an auto mechanic in Huntsville Alabama USA. I have met many young Indian students getting their college education here. I fix their cheap cars, just to last them through school & we've become friends.. The Indian's are among the brightest, most clever & industrious i have ever met. They make ways to overcome obstacles that i could never think of. I'm retiring from cars now but these Indian students have been a delight.

The story of the young gold digger who broke away from his tyranic boss & landlord to become his own boss, formed his own clan & found a roof over their head deserves a movie. He is so smart & knew he could do better than his boss, treat his own worker better for much better return on investment, find a better buyer, hire a taxi to get there quick. I bet he will rise to the top some day. However, the people surviving on the beach selling alcohol, I feel sorry for them because a solid roof over your head is the first step in the human hierarchy of need without a roof, there's no safety ^ you can't function properly plus selling alcohol which only brings more human misery, is a bad combination.

However, such totally broken structures also produce very clever minds whose cleverness is challenged. In well-ordered societies, such instincts can no longer develop and this often creates a drug problem from which wealthy countries increasingly suffer. Nevertheless, India has collapsed, the fact that everyone is fed is a miracle, nonetheless.

I would still prefer money, in general. What you can do with enough money: refuse to work, live in a nice house with garden, travel, buy sports goods and play/exercise in corresponding grounds, buy good food, especially in restaurants, get good health insurance. - It is otherwise told to relieve the poor.

@@sadiequinlan We are anyway posed to work only during half of our life. Even less than 1/3rd of that. Do you want child labour, no retirement, working from birth till death? Arguments: 1. In interviews with moribunds, the number one regret in life turned out: having work too much and hard. 2. Seminal founders of religions and philosophies like Buddha, Jesus, Schopenhauer, Marx inherited or were helped , which enabled them to achieve their goals. 3. It is extremely improbable that one's work is as gratifying as any other interest or hobby of choice. 4. There are not enough job positions globally. South Korea produces alone 1/3 of screens and mobile phones. So better to leave the work to others who need it. 5. Working means today mostly sitting, which is not healthy. I do the contrary: live about like a hunter-gatherer. Move up to 5 hours daily (cycling, hiking, swimming, skiing). Get hungry, thirsty, exhausted, exposed to sunlight. So no steady pampering. P. S. What is the later fare of Suvita, will she remain beautiful and happy?

The rest exploring nature, cuisines, travelling by train and bicycle, attending concerts, cinemas, shows in the evening. Then the house, the pets, the clubs. You should see the ones who literally go down into the sewers to pan for gold!!! The gold workers inevitably inhale some of the gold dust too so it comes out in their poop…. That combined, with just the stuff that makes it’s way down there from the streets above (like where these guys are panning). I saw that documentary a few years ago and I was absolutely HORRIFIED!!! So, after wading and diving down (head and all!) into a shitty sewer, mercury would be the least of their worries! But yes, it is indeed, extremely dangerous.

The (Reserve Currency Privilege) that America and Europe enjoy made them rich while keeping other countries poor. Thanks to the Reserve Currency Privilege America and Europe have, they can print money or borrow money from local banks and use it to finance their own development. India and Africa don't have Reserve Currency Privilege, India and Africa cannot print money or borrow money from local banks to finance their development. If India and Africa don't earn enough USD or EUR from exporting, neither will be able to develop. No country should need the currency of another country to develop; this is colonization and slavery in another form.

Instead of blaming others,we have to make a proper introspection.even after 76 years of independence if we see a lower strata in our society, that shows the failure of our political class.they did not perform their duties well.things can be improved if there is political will.these leaders go to other countries and see the facilities given to their citizens.still they fail to deliver such things to Indian citizens.we think that people are suffering because of their karma or fate. This philosophy is hindering our progress.progress of country is brought about by the development of all citizens.the government must work for that .

You have no right to call India a poor country. Have you ever been to India? Every country has its poor, but our people, rich or poor, have worked hard to make India great. In the past, most people were poor without a name and struggled a lot to turn their future around. You blame the government for not giving. Consider the people in your vicinity and ask yourself if your government meets the standards of the people. I am proud of my country, and believe me, it's people like you who should be educated more about the world.
