Interestingly, the officially adventurers league materials on Hartsvale mention that giant blood has mingled with the blood of men there, so really anyone who is a descendant of anyone in Hartsvale could be the chosen one. From the adventure Forgotten Traditions: "Generation after generation were born, lived, and died in Hartsvale. Giant blood mingled with the human population." I'm playing with this idea in my SKT campaign right now.

I really appreciate hearing more about the giants, I played as a Stone Giant a long time ago and he is still one of my favorite characters I ever played as so learning more of these kind of things help me plan for if I ever want him to resurface in any of my stories. I love these race videos, so when you finish with all the more interesting monsters and races, do you think you'll continue Lore bits or start looking into classes or artifacts like the Deck of Many. I'd love to hear about Displacer Beasts next, I feel like they ironically get overlooked from just how cool they are, but I agree with some other commenters that a Hag video would be nice since I know so little about them having never encountered one in a campaign I've played.

Ooo! I got hear pretty quick! I LOVE YOUR STUFF, MrRhexx! Your delving into the established lore is absolutely fantastic for giving DMs like me ideas for how they want to spin that lore in their own campaigns. If you read this can you PLEASE do an episode on Myconids? They are favorite race (and I do think of them less as a monster and more a playable race).

This is the most concise video on giants so far. Good job! I’m currently writing a campaign where a cloud giant is plotting a scheme to destroy the dragons, build a sky city, organize the giants, dominate the world, and restore Ostoria and bring back Annam.

@@zachburskey8868 What minor god could say no to her though; being his wife? That said, again, none of this is proportional to what happened. Yes, he was cheated on but RAPE and then MURDER do not count as justifiable retorts to such a thing. Only a weak, abusive person would do such a thing and surely there was other options but no, he decides to force a pregnancy out of a need to dominate her completely and what did it result in? Nothing but wasted potential.
