What The Final 12 Months Of Johnny Cash's Life Were Like

Johnny Cash was one of the most important country artists of the ‘50s, ‘60s, and ‘70s, but his music feels truly timeless. The Man in Black was an influence on all kinds of music, and he continued to record acclaimed music up until his death in 2003, with even more being released after he passed away.
Cash had struggled with his health for more than a decade, but things got considerably worse in the last year of his life, and his condition only worsened when his wife, June Carter Cash, passed away. Let’s take a look at what the final 12 months of Johnny Cash’s life were like.

I have so much respect for this man. I was introduced to his music by watching the Walk The Line movie and after that I became hooked. He was a wonderful man and I'm glad he didn't have to live too long without June after she passed. I cry every time I hear his version of Hurt

I dunno. He was an icon - and rightfully so - but have you ever actually heard him sing? He really wasn't that talented, vocally. But he put his heart into it, and I guess that's what counts.

TH3 F4LC0N eh he was a good country singer and rock singer but when he tried to sing the gospel songs yeah....he sounded pretty off like his voice was only meant to sing outlaw songs in his deep gravely tones not happy spiritual songs that require a more clear voice.

EDDMZ EPISODE 61 JOHNNY CASH.
