Jon never admitted to cheating. He just said he wasn’t a saint, and that can mean anything (flirting, kissing fans, etc). It doesn’t always mean having sex with other women. Either way, even if he did, Dorothea forgave him and he obviously felt bad about it. He’s a rock star and that’s just his career. Dorothea is the woman Jon Bon Jovi LOVES. Nothing can break that and he even stated they talk and are a team in their relationship. Remember at the end of the day, Jon and Dorothea are a happy couple who always try to make things work and have been married for over 34 years. His mistakes are in the past and forgiven for.

This story lacked something but I can't put my finger on it. They showed glimpses about families but that's it. Would be nicer if it talked about that a bit more and less about Jon's surgery and recovery. That's another story to tell

At any rate, he should be taking vocal lessons, because he needs it. I saw them twice back in the day. It takes a lot of stamina, healthy lungs, great breathing practices, singing in key, and energy to perform a grueling tour. Their hits are not exactly the easiest songs to perform, even when they were young.

This documentary was about what the band went through. Not what they went through personally. All the members got to tell their truth.

Jon admitted, maybe exaggerated, maybe not….but do you honestly think Dorthea was living under a rock thinking “Jon would never look at another woman”? He was away from home for months at a time! He was young, handsome….and I don’t believe for one moment that Dorthea did not know what was happening. And IT IS NONE OF YOURS OR MY BUSINESS ANYWAY!! I don't understand why people think it's no one's business. Jon has admitted to cheating in dozens of videos over the years. He makes it people's business, and to keep bringing it up, he's proud of it whether he admits it or not. When you regret something you let it go. Most likely, they had an open marriage and she gave him permission. Which is fine if it worked for them, but it's his fault people talk about it. He won't let them forget. The Drummer Tico has been married since 2001 Keyboardist Bryan has been happily married since 2010 The Tico + Bryan are both on their 2nd marriages Both are happy

I don’t think for a minute anyone ever assumed Jon was faithful to his vows and that includes his wife. The fact they married soon after his career kicked off proves she was the love of his life and he wanted to make sure she was taken care of should anything happen to him. It’s between them. I am disappointed he had to bring it up at this juncture because it’s disrespectful to Dorothea who’s raised his kids and run his charities so he could travel the world doing what he loves. He’s still handsome and charismatic with plenty of stage time left so it’s not like he needs to brag to get attention.

This is just a glorified revisionist history account of how Bon Jovi became so huge. Jon's revisionist version makes it all about him and how it was just him that catapulted the band into success/fame. Jon actively pushed Richie out of the band, after years of professional/personal petty jealousy(s). Jon got rid of anyone who didn't tow the line, beginning with Alec (whether justified or not). It's NOT a band. It's a business, with Jon as the dictator. Richie, Dave, and Tico were/are employees and if they wanted to keep their jobs, needed to do as Jon said. Even if they didn't agree with him. Jon wouldn't have had the smash hits without Richie's input. Period. Jon is an attention slor, always seeking the spotlight. His ego is boundless. He name drops and acts as if he's the only influential person in the band. Jon makes a big deal about his "friendship" with Bruce Springsteen, and tries to make it appear that he's the only one who's friends with him. Richie is also close friends with him (and other members of the E Street Band). As is several other members of BJ. Jon isn't the only one who wrote the music/lyrics. He wasn't the only producer. He wasn't the only reason why this band made it big. Jon knew the reason why Richie left the band. So did the others (who look SO UNCOMFORTABLE when repeating the exact same lie over and over in many different interviews). Jon has NO EMPATHY for what any of the other band members are going thru in their lives., There's so much more, but let's just say the documentary is a self serving ego boost made by Jon (who had total control on the project) and for Jon. It's a shame. I was so excited to watch it too. I loved the old footage. Disappointed that we got that crap. Just enjoy the nostalgia and don't believe everything Jon says.
