I love living and surfing up here on the Northern Beaches, especially in autumn and winter when there aren't many people around.
During this time you can surf with relatively few people, that is, until they all see you catch a few and decide to join you at the peak.

Thanks Kales! As we literally say in Spanish, "I'm gonna write my mind" (I mean that I'm gonna remember like a school lesson) that for starting you only need good lower waves. I just love this beach where you surf, I also don't prefer overcrowded beaches to practice this great sport!

I lived in Harbord for a while with Freshwater beach two roads away. Loved it. Great, easy and forgiving breaks for a pom novice like me. Plus having the SLSC very close was great to retreat into. Thoroughly pissed off I had to come home. Hey ho... maybe I'll return

What a beautiful place ..the water in Australia is ridiculously clean n clear whats the water temp?...my local break is Huntington beach pier CA and trestles San Clemente bout 30 minutes away if u ever come to CA u have to surf there best break on west coast yeeeeeeew 🌊 🏄 🤙🏻

north steyne has the best shaped waves in my opinion but narrabeen also has a pretty nice swell. wish i could surf at whale tho looks beautiful
I used to live in the boat shed at the northern end of the carpark in the late 80s, very lucky,

Whale bch, avalon bch, bungan, North Narrabeen (very friendly and helpful locals here, be sure to ask them for tips), Long Reef, Curl Curl and of course Manly-Steyne-Queenscliffe bch (very low crowds and really good sand banks here)...enjoy

May is often the biggest surf month in Sydney and 80% of this video is you talking - well done.
Great beach and chilled there, they hated westy more than anyone. Who care about a Pom ? Good vid but watch them locals
