My in laws are Samoan and they are nothing like his family. They never ask for money ever. As long as we are all happy, healthy and have what we need then they are happy, they are quite poor so sometimes we will give them money if we can, but they have never ever once asked for money

Also, the fact that he still doesn't know how to say his wife or kid's name properly is beyond infuriating. I guarantee you that he's so dumb and clueless that he tells/corrects her and her family that they're saying it wrong. It reminds me of living in Korea. Any time they would speak English words that had an "E" at the end, they would pronounce it like a hard "E." (Example: "Large" = "Large-y") But he does it with both her, and the baby, and I haven't heard anyone else say it that way aside from maybe his own mom, which he would obviously be the source of her ignorance.

I moved 12 hours from home to be with my boyfriend and I'm still in the U.S, but boy did I get depressed the first 6months, it was awful. So I believe it's a mixture of post partum, homesickness, and probably regretting getting into a lifelong commitment to Paul.

I don’t know about his culture. I don’t know if they should understand or if they genuinely think he’s turned his back on them. They obviously ramp things up for the show but I just can’t tell what’s what here.

Paul was annoying the hell out of me and I was just watching a video. When you take someone from their home country away from their family and traditions while getting them pregnant and expect them to act like everything is okay it’s not going to happen. SHE JUST NEEDS SPACE. Men don’t understand after you have a baby your whole body and mindset changes. Maybe she’s realizes she made mistake not having her son but being with Paul. If he keeps annoying her she’s going to leave his ass. Plus he’s not even working. So know she’s stuck with all these empty promises that he promised over a screen.

I'm sorry for Asuelu. He has a good heart and is still young for the many responsibilities that fell upon him. He found himself alone in a foreign place...the cultural shock was too big for him and the fact that he had no one next to him from his culture made it even more difficult for him. I wish him all the best.

@@Crissybooable his dad showed it more than once that he somehow despiced his place of origine and its people. He was always keeping distance with Asuelu and was definitely not a shoulder of support for Asuelu. Whoever lives abroad away from it's people understands Asuelu's feelings and relates to him 100%.

This is sadly how families get when you move to a better country. My mom and I struggled here in the states but my family back in Bali thought we just shit money. Not the case and she almost cut them off completely. At the end of the day, she only took care of me and her mother. Other than that, the rest of the family survived before she moved to the states, they can survive now. (We’re helping because of the pandemic since this is out of their control)

I would like to just see one time when Paul starts all that running he just falls and slides just like when they run across the stage on Maury’s show
