Not sure how to detect a wire behind concrete? How to find pipes behind a wall? You’ve come to the right place.
This video shows you how to accurately and easily track objects using Walabot DIY in Images mode. Learn how to get the best results when looking for a curved wire or pipe behind walls.
How to detect electrical wires in a wall:
- First, download the Walabot DIY app on your Smartphone.
- Make sure your Walabot DIY is calibrated.
- Identify the wire as opposed to other objects, such as a stud. (Watch how to use Walabot as a stud finder).
- Track the direction of the wire on your phone’s screen. If the wire curves, you may need to rotate your phone in order to keep it parallel to the wire.

That’s because NOBODY listened to what he said or looked in the description!!! He clearly says it’s his phone and if you read the description it tells you the name of the app he used. Geez people come on!!!
Is it works on a brick wall to detect pvc pipe for electric wires and/or water pipes?

hi David, Walabot is a drywall tool. it may detect stuff thru other surfaces in an expert mode, but you need to test it to know.

8 videos could have easily been 1 decent length one. no reason to split this up. and not much helpful information either, other than calibrate and 'use expert mode'

every vid I see there is no insulation in the wall and plumbing and pipes are but up against the drywall. Its never like this in real life
