i think the number one thing is to use what works for you and your budget! having an ipad isn't necessary at all, but a lot of people who currently have ipads and need them for their courses requested this video :0 dw!!

i use my ipad w a windows laptop! i can't use my ipad as a stand-alone because of the programs i have to use for my research lab and stem classes :(

for my physics review sheets that i made recently, i only wrote down equations since i knew most of the concepts. i only added in additional details for the concepts i couldn't recall off the top of my head. i add in more or less detail depending on how much i remember. i also have a tutorial already up on my youtube channel, but i'll see if i can find the time to make an updated one!

i end up having to increase the brightness more when i'm on dark mode to see clearly, which ultimately tires my eyes out faster in the long run. everyone's different tho!
