The amount he boasted about being a successful write, written in high-school level writing, was pretty unbearable. It feels like those singing competition contestants that are clearly very poor singers who haven’t developed he ear to assess their own singing but believe they are amazing since others who also don’t have an ear told them they were amazing. The whole book reeked of survivorship bias which was just painful paired with Clear’s pompous attitude obviousness. If I had to guess, the pieces of good advice were probably just the watered down regurgitation from other authors

Horrible review! You have absolutely no experience and missed the whole point of the book! Fat/obese people now are 66% of our population and it’s a real problem. Creating better habits in our daily lives and establishing a discipline system is extremely important in live. There is sometime very wrong with being fat, obese, overeating and all the other horrible advice you give. You could learn a lot from James Clear!

omg!! i found you again! after watching your vids for like 2 years straight back in 2018 (i just started high school) you were literally the reason why i started to romanticise studying, it feels so weird that you have your own place and you have a professional job?! and are a fully grown adult, last time i saw you just started college and youre still inspiring LOL! like literally you got me into buying good stationary and becoming a stationary whore LOL, its good to see you kinda active🥹🥹

the portuguese urge to defend saramago even though i understand that his writing style can be a deterrent to enjoy his writing 😔😔 i read the year of the death of ricardo reis when i was in highschool and it was a struggle until telenovela type shenanigans started happening and then i rlly got into it. it's 400 hundred pages of ricardo reis getting berated for having the personality of a napkin. a thing that I've noticed though, is that in some english versions the translator attempts to tone down his style a bit to be easier to read. anyways! book taste is subjective and that's what makes literature fun! hope you have a wonderful week, i'm super happy i found your channel again. haven't seen you since your muji review days. it's so fun revisiting ppl that you grow up with parallelly.

I'm 4 years late to this video, but as of today I'm reaching the end of my junior year (2 more months I'll be done). I procrastinated, burnt myself out, and did really mediocre on the SAT (It was still above the 1000s, but I could've really done better.) so I plan to take it in June or August. Wish I watched this video sometime in July or August, lol. I get everything but one thing that's hard for me is finding club opportunities and leadership roles for 2 reasons. 1.) I am not a good leader nor public speaker and I find it hard to commit to things. 2.) My parents are strict and don't always agree with me staying after school for activities. I'm pretty much stuck in my house and I know how extremely detrimental that is but there are times where I really don't have a choice and when I do I'm overly confused on what choices I should take.
