A man ran through my yard and stole my gas can that was sitting next to my lawnmower. He brought it back a couple hours later still running

@@user-zq9vi3gj2q yeah l assume so at first, but you said he brought it back "still running" and got confused. l think you meant like with some gas on it still. Its called "jerrican" or "jerrycan" btw.

I don't live in as rough an area as some of the stories here, but still: - vandalism is the norm. I've had the tyres slashed on my bike several times, the laundry room is closed around new year, as people threw fireworks into the machines, the parking lot is often used as a racing track with burnouts - some years ago it wasn't uncommon for people to steal cars around town, drive them until they were thrashed, then take them to this area and set them on fire. That has since been reduced a lot, mainly because of the cameras we now have. Although it's still very common to see stolen cars ditched at the side of the streets
I learnt that people only f with you if you appear weak. Even the illusion of being strong is enough to deter most. Also that your worth is measured half by how you look and other half by how you speak

I mumble and jerk around a little slightly raising my voice for a few words then back to mumbling. In other words, I act like I’m crazy. Works wonders.
10:31 Plot twist, OP lives in the Kanto region
l live in a poor country (Argentina) so there is no safety at all no matter where you live you can get robbed, kidnapped or shot at. Though there are no gangs thankfully like in the US or isnt controlled by drug cartels like Mexico or the rest of Center and South America... l myself lived in a good neighborhood but just a few blocks away was a complete different story Always had the worst friends in that aspect, mostly drug addicts and alcoholics, petty thieves pot heads and stuff, knew some really bad people of course l could actually make a whole video series about the shit that happened back then. Most of the day we were just hanging out on the street drinking booze and smoking pot etc. That part was really awesome for me l have to say, l miss those days some times. l learned a lot about the real world and people honestly.
Barely one week after moving in the drug dealer next door to me overdosed ah Chicago.
I lived in a small city in Jersey my hometown. And used to really piss me off when ppl would just lean up against my cars and chill like it's their car like go tf away
I remember living in the hood in nyc now in Mass. I still break down boxes if I brought a TV or put it in truck so I could being it to work always buy a old used car from junkyard never a new car always a stick shift or automatic
One time I made accidental eye contact with a guyt across the road and he got mad at me
I’ll say it’s fun living in the hood till it’ll not 😂
Keep to yourself
It sucks lol
