This was so informative.... thank you all for being so detailed. I just turned 57 and honestly scared to retire. My wife and I have discussed retiring and moving to PV. Maybe it is time to take some vacation and give the area a test.

We simply avoid WalMart in Vallarta, the same way we avoid it back in Chicago. Ha! We shop local as much as possible.
Is that their neighbors dog barking in the background? 😵💫
What's the biggest difference in terms of amentias and shopping experience between Puerto Vallarta and Playa del Carman?
That’s enough. Masive moving of foreigners to Puerto Vallarta is turning our Town infested like a plague.
I don't get it. If it's so nice why do you tell more gringos to come here
