These ladies gave me goosebumps talking about my country. I am so happy they have met with such honor as here in US there are good things but also a lot of bad things said about Jamaicans. First as a nurse they tell me I took away their jobs. It gets worse because most of us have two jobs and on top of that we are going to school to finish our degree.

I like this interview, great job to all involved, and let’s ask ourselves the question - are we in Jamaica or Sweden? That’s what makes one country different from another. Like both ladies, I’m Jamaican, and I’ve travelled to, and lived in different countries. I think loving our differences is a great mindset to have.

Former Us president Barrak Obama when he came to Jamaica and greeted the audience saying “ wah gwaan Jamaica “ , I think that’s how a lot of people came acquainted with the phrase, so even if they don’t know how to say anything else in patois, they know how to greet in that form.

This is so refreshing to hear how other countries and cultures across the globe loved and appreciate Jamaican culture. Bob Marley and Husien Bold are the greatest ambassadors for Jamaica around the world. It is also refreshing to hear this because here in UK they tried to give Jamaican like other African countries bad image. The colonial racist attitude is still engrained in their heads and minds Shame. Thanks for internet Jamaicans in Britain should be proud of who they are and their culture. You are appreciated and known around the world.
