How to become a Teacher in Sweden
Sweden currently has a shortage of teachers and preschool teachers. Over the coming years, hundreds of thousands will need to be recruited.

If you're a teacher with a teaching qualification from a foreign country, it's important to find out what you need in order to qualify to work as a teacher in Sweden.
Your first step is to contact the Swedish National Agency for Education (Skolverket). For your certification. the Swedish National Agency for Education was tasked with reviewing foreign teacher qualifications.
What is the certification?
A teacher certificate states in which types of schools, which subjects, and which years a teacher is qualified to teach.

Hello sis, thanks a million for the video,so I studied education iny first degree with experience of about 10yrs i have in my national teachers certificate, am planing on coming to sweden to study my masters on arrival while studying my masters can I still enroll in these short courses, PR I have to wait till I round up the masters program kindly advice pls

Hi there. I would like to share that I have been Asst Prof for 9 years in Colleges and 6 years as a Post Graduate Teacher of Biology in India. I have 2 bachelors - one in Science and 1 in Education and 2 Masters from India. I completed my 3rd Master's in Germany last September. I would like to know if my bachelor's in education and teaching experience in India can be counted here if I try for teaching jobs in schools in Sweden. Please respond

You can apply to international schools. You can apply for a job search visa first.

Yes, you can be a teacher either in the English speaking schools or you can learn Swedish while here to get the certificate. Everything is in the video.

In my opinion, I would never become a teacher in Sweden: * Teachers are demanded thay they must meet a miilion requirements due to the burocracy of Sweden. * Education in Sweden is too lifeless, it teaches nothing meaninful, it doesn't prepare us how to live!!! * Education in Sweden is just a simple day care! * Teachers are too underpaid and into millionaire debts to live! * Teachers are mistreated by their studnets and parents who both look like thugs! * Teachers are so overworked that don't sleep to work overning reading 2000000 mails, preparing activities, etc. * The government blames it all on teachers by being it the educational model it! * Pisa inform's results ... no comment! I prefer to do it in Ireland, Germany or England...but never in Sweden
