Out of all of traffic signs, this is the only one that requires you to stop, take out your sci-calc, and spend a few minutes planning and plotting your trip ahead.

Why you use the tangent use another sin,cos and cesec... Can you explain that

In road construction and surveying, length of hypotenuse is not used much / not known or available.

Tangent is opposite/adjacent. The opposite is the 8, and adjacent is the 100. It’s the only one that doesn’t use the hypotenuse and no more calculations are necessary. You can use a^2+b^2=c^2 to calculate the hypotenuse which you can use in sin (opposite/hypotenuse) and cos (adjacent/hypotenuse)
