The thing I see most is people who think leadership is just bossing people around, and trying to make people do their bidding. Not because it's the most efficient thing to do, or provides the best results, but because they want to feel powerful. That's not even close to what a leader is.

I just find people are to intitled. I'm a plumber and Lotz of people around me think they deserve more . They get it. They want more. My wife is a salon owner. They make their own hours ,take days off, make good money and they think they deserve more. Some people just don't understand the business side. And long nights they just show up and go home. As much as he is right I also disagree but I love pat and all that he does for us go getters.

Yup . This guy says same thing every damn day . It's a dependant mindset. There's no peace in that lifestyle and that's considered unsuccessful. Ready player one motto and have nobody to answer too is freedom. Help churches help with wisdom from a tried and true source . Just work on character flaws and be open to help out. Chasing mobsters in a game fika controls and every other organization is a trap that paper chasers get to deal with. Steve jobs was rich and made his own shit everyone eventually stole . Some guy from Iran is telling Americans your poor bums basically.

That’s just paying the expenses first. I worked with my brother to help manage his business that he had with a guy that had no idea how to run a business. He didn’t have enough money to go around and he said he will pay his workers first. I was really working for free and just wanted to see the business succeed. It’s all an efficiency game and to me it’s fun to play, but the guy was so terrible and didn’t follow directions, even if you had to tell him over and over and he himself would say he was trying and he was just so disorganized. You have to have a vision and you have to find the talent and people who get on board. If they don’t yet on board and you as a leader aren’t efficient, then the rest doesn’t matter

I worked as a temporary employee when I younger and wanted to see the many facets of work, this is what I noticed after working at hundreds of work places.... A place with good leadership always had the right atmosphere when you walked in the door! If companies retain their employees/customers and they are productive and happy....you are on the right path. A good leader builds people and doesn't have ego problems that destroy others.

I am looking to surround myself with this kind of Leadership/mentorship. It is extremely hard to find people that want to genuinely help someone who is in need of guidance. And don't judge on my past. If anyone knows of any online groups or websites it would be greatly appreciated.

I judge it basically by how efficient one's team is. If you can demonstrate that your team is operating smoother, faster, more efficiently, and their morale is markedly higher than the opposing team, then you know that team believed in their leader, and that the leader wasn't a paper tiger. The leader had substance, something to pass on, and the communication skills to pass those on to the team. There was buy in, and clout, everyone acknowledged this, and all focused only on the mission.
