Oh I know that feeling!! When my husband told me he was going to be 100% vegan .. I was blown away ..so so happy. I hadn't pushed him or coerced him AT ALL..he was already a vegetarian so it wasn't massive give up meat moment but wow. Bask in that plant based respectful glow :) xxx

You’re so right; we cannot force anyone to be vegan. Sure, we can have certain boundaries regarding our own vegan values (for instance, I will not handle/prepare animal products - even if it’s intended for someone else’s meal), but we cannot force our morals onto another. Once I was able to make peace with the reality that I was the only vegan I knew, and that in all likelihood, my friends and family would never adopt my values, it made things a lot easier.

Yeah what a development. I think the biggest obstacle going vegan is actually perfectionism and being pushed. So that he got all the time to think about it I think made a huge difference. I am no vegetarian and no vegan because whenever I try to be 100% from one day to another it never last long. But when I try to make as many vegan choices as possible I get more vegan from day to day and I really feel the difference.
