Patrick keeler and that album is how i started actually learning my licks! Thank you
Glad you're giving Keeler some love! He's such an excellent rock drummer. There's a fill in the song Store Bought Bones from the first album (at about the two minute mark for those interested) that I can not get enough of. It's not necessarily the complexity of it, but his power and style that just moves me.
great drummer and great drumming...groovy, laid back but tight and on point at the same time. thanks for the video!
Patrick is a fantastic drummer. He stood out to me immediately when I saw The Greenhornes and in a band of really talented musicians, to me he was the best part of the band... and that's saying a lot, because I thought the whole band was brilliant! So to me, it was no surprise that people like Jack White also recognised his amazing talent. Definitely high up on my list of top fave drummers of all time.😎
The raconteurs are awesome. Lovely playing them loudly in my car haha.
I love that live version of "On the Level"

Everything that band does is great.
Patrick Keeler has been my favorite drummer for over 14 years, and I’m a guitar player. His work on Consolers of the Lonely is what made me notice. I got to see the Greenhornes live back in 2010, and I watched him during the whole set. I haven’t checked out the Afghan Whigs albums he’s played on yet, but I’m sure it’s great.
W Goat❤
And he plays a two-piece! Consolers of the lonely is one of my all-time favorite albums. I can listen to it all the way through.
Patrick Keeler, is, and, has been, my favorite living drummer for many years now. I got to meet him twice in 2012. One of my favorite memories. Listen to Winter's Going, with Karen Elson. He played drums on it, and, its incredible. And, I know he likes to record with 20" bass drums. But, I also know he's recorded with different bass drums/drums in general, throughout the years. Keep up the great work 👍🏼
Love that album.
I love this band and wish like hell Jack would pursue it more. I also love Jack's drumming with The Dead Weather. Another great band he should pursue more.
love keeler, he plays a 26, actually, hes playing is superb!
U just earned urself a sub
Great video! Love The Racs. I'd like to see your take on Brian Chase, I think his drumming is key for the YYY's sound, especially their first two albums.
My favorite Jack White drummer might just be Jack White himself in The Dead Weather. This is epic and I love pretty much anything he puts time into.
It is the song. THE
