@@dreambiggmedia 2022 vs Penn State MHJ had 10 receptions 185 yds 0 TD, yesterday 11/162/1... Stroud is a great QB and I'm happy people are now seeing that. But lots of people thought he wasn't good enough because Ohio State lost to Oregon and twice to Michigan. Give McCord credit - he only has half a season under his belt and already has two wins against top 10 opponents.

I'm trying to figure out how a guy who is as superlative as you describe seems to just disappear in half his games... Marvin Harrison Jr. vs. Indiana: 2 catches, 18 yards vs. Notre Dame: 3 catches, 32 yards vs. Rutgers: 4 catches, 25 yards vs. Minnesota: 3 catches, 30 yards Last I checked, one LSU WR led the nation in receiving yards while another WR led the nation in receiving TD's - meaning that LSU's top two WR's actually AVERAGE better numbers than Harrison put up this year. Malik Nabors, LSU 86 catches, 1,546 yards* (18.0 avg), 14 TD's Bryan Thomas Jr., LSU 60 catches, 1079 yards (18.0 avg), 15 TD's* Marvin Harrison Jr., OSU 67 catches, 1,211 yards (18.1 avg), 13 TD's

No. I could just as easily point out that Nabors had to share touches with the nation's TD leader and everyone else - including JD's 1,100 yards on the ground and STILL put up better numbers than a guy who had the entire offense run through him. I'm not saying that MHJr isn't a great receiver, just that Nabors was more deserving of the award based on this year's performance, which is what the award is supposed to be about - not name recognition or getting robbed the previous season.
